The Night The Clock Hit 12:07 7 Episode 6

The summer's night began to become more and more cold as the days past.
Hara: Lol it was stupid
Miki: Lmao that's what you get! you suck!
We've been talking all night about all types of things. From the dungeons that we died horrifically in to gossiping about the different couples in the guild. We are still private messaging each other.
Hara: So what do you think about Gabby and Jexter?
Miki: Wait what?! They're dating? Since when?
Hara: How am I supposed to know that? I don't talk to Jex that much
Miki: ...I was just asking jeez
Hara: No, I don't know
Miki: Why do you act like that?
Hara: Act like what?
I hesitate. Should I tell him what I really think? I've always wanted to ask him about his reasonings for acting the way he does. But do I have the right to? I am sure he will lash out at me for asking him. He's never opened up to anyone about his personal life except for Syl, his best friend and our guild leader.
I decide to speak my mind for once and go for it.
Miki: The way you talk to people. The things you say and do. It's as if you purposely want to come off as a a.s.shole.
Hara: Let me stop you right there. You don't know me.
Miki: But I want to though. I want to get to know you, the real you. The you that you don't want others to see.
Why am I trying so hard to be. He's right, I don't know him. I don't even know how real name or what's his favorite color. I'm not even sure if he's dating someone in real life for not.
Hara: You don't want to.
I pause for awhile, debating whether I should hit send or not. I hit send.
Miki: I really do. I know for sure that you're not who you put yourself to seem.
Hara: seriously stop prying
Miki: I will only if you tell me this.
Hara: What is it?
Miki: What's your favorite food?
Hara: Really?
He takes a little longer to reply than usual. I just a.s.sumed the reply would be unusually long for such a question.
Hara: Pizza I guess
Miki: Hmmm okay. I'll leave you alone then I guess
He didn't reply after that. My feelings are all mixed up. I want to get to know him. But why would I want to get to know a a.s.shole? He flips out over minor things and his att.i.tude sucks. Lots of people say he's a womanizer; that he doesn't show his true feelings to anyone. Maybe Spy is right, what if it's because he's the first guy to really show me attention? I get random pms from guys who I pa.s.s on the game complimenting my characters looks but I usually ignore them. They get quite creepy fast.

"Uuugh, why am I so stupid?!"
I lay my head on my desk and glance at the giant wooden clock above my bed. The clock reads 10:38. When did the time go by?
The old grey house creaked as the cold summer's breeze rustled the leaves outside the window. A whistle noise begun to grow louder in pitch. The sound of branches falling to the ground startled me. The wind shouldn't be that strong to knock down branches in the middle of August.
"Granny?..."
I got up quickly and rushed to the window
hitting my pinky toe on the side of my desk.
I grabbed my foot while looking out the window, "Ouch! Fu-"
A voice came from behind, "Watch that language young lady"
Immediately, I turned my head towards the noise. A child-like smile spread across face and just like that, I'd have forgotten about that annoying gorilla.
