He was sweating profusely, how had everything just happened? his mind was still jumbled from the beating he just took. To think someone would not only push him so far back as to activate his monster core, he would also defeat him. His hands were trembling his whole body felt fear that person was an actual demon. He tried to fight it but the fear he felt was too great it left a deep impression within him. All he wanted was to get revenge on his brothers that fell even though his anger flared up it, reminded him of an incident in the past. Not strong enough.....Footsteps could be heard approaching the area where the VR disciples were. It was Sect leader Try, he looked at the grave condition his disciple was in looking grim."What happened Zach?" How did you get so injured outside the game? Did a game master find out you cheated?" Try asked surprised to see him so beat up."No, someone defeated me on the inside...." He said voice shaking. "I had to use the emergency artifact to leave the s.p.a.ce but the injuries from the game stayed with me.""H-how did this happen?" It caught Try by surprise. "Did you get ambushed by a group?""No master it was a demon core user, it must have been from that new sect. He was too strong" He actually wasn't as strong as Zach said, but he was incredibly skilled. Zach had never seen someone get accustomed to his fighting style so quickly and once the gap was almost closed he took advantage of him quickly. This made Zach actually kind of excited he had been bored ever since he entered the game, finally finding someone on his level. The problem was he still was too weak to fight him he needed to get stronger."It must be that new Demon Sect don't worry elder is going to take care of them and their leader soon anyways. Sect leader should take care of it soon." Try said.Wait what did that mean he knew this sect took advantage of the new game but he had always heard this sect was honorable. "Yes master." He said. There was something he always felt was a little bit off when he had joined the Emerald Sword Sect. He didn't say anything because of the great chances they had given him but now he didn't know. Every time he talked to his master or elder they had been planning something. He wasn't this type of cultivator he needed to find a way out of this sect before he did something he regretted. Zach sighed and ate a medicinal pill he needed to get ready get stronger and get the protection of a strong sect to get away from the Emerald Sword Sect.-----------"Finally, you guys made it." Raph smiled as he saw the rest of the group make it. They had had a chance to try out the cultivation technique but only Raph and I'mcold had managed to activate it. Raph smiled handing it to her.She looked through the contents surprised to read what was inside. How had he found such a powerful manual on the ground, did it rain such incredible things no of course not. They had to be hiding something, it was understandable though demon clans had been hunted down here on Earth so she didn't say anything more."So should we hurry and take out the hidden bosses then it shouldn't be too hard now that we have made to the fourth stage well most of us that is." Everyone looked at Raph.Well that's what he gets for fighting for his life and saving them a reset. "Alright let's go then." Raph said ignoring them.They made it to cave, it thick with moss, skeleton remains and the air smelled like blood. "This must be it." Lovely said taking out a bag of blood. It smelled terrible. Then not five seconds later a terrible sound reverberated throughout the cave, it sounded like the crushing of bones truly terrifying like a horror movie. Then a giant badger appeared with a tough black cloak and a truly hideous face rotting away showing the remains of its skull.- Slows opponents Attack and movement Speed by 20%- opponents. .h.i.t by attack suffer plague- A Storm of bones surrounds Badger lord Skrull dealing continuous 50% damage-Throws broken bones dealing 200% Damage and applying The Badger didn't hesitate to begin its attack looking at its food. Raph readied himself but was a step behind everyone else had already launched their attacks. Just one stage and there was this much of a difference. Raph sighed and tried to keep up but they were always a step ahead. The rest of the group had also got better gear through the last dungeon run they had even picked up some new skills.Leaving Raph way behind in damage, and not only that it was hard to dodge the attacks of this new boss but everyone's prediction skills had taken a step up. Raph was the only one having a hard time not even Newbones seemed to have any problems adjusting. The health of the boss plummeted leaving it quickly dispatched by the group. The rhythm seemed to be a step ahead of him the whole time, he actually had thought himself pretty bada.s.s fighting someone of the second stage and actually beating him. Now he saw this group of experts bring him back down to reality he sucked and had a long way to go still.Before long the giant Badger had died and left his loot it would have been an actual tough battle if they had not made it to the fourth stage. He had been as strong as the five elemental wolf but with their skill it was nothing but a breeze to defeat.
