Later that night Michael, along with Ye Han and Larry attended the banquet.
"I always wanted to know what a human banquet look like. I'm sorry to say that I wish I stayed home. How can this place be fun? All they do is eat, drink and talk. And all they talk about is how wealthy they are. I'm a master alchemist and I make way more money than they do." - (Larry)
"I know what you mean. I only attended this shingdig is because they are my decendants. Otherwise, I would have stayed home and cultivate." (Ye Yan)
"Come on guys, don't be like that. Atleast they have basketball courts and bowling alleys." he said
"Master, do you see the crowd and the line to those. By the time we get our turn, the banquet will be over." (Larry)
"Well, let's say hi first to the city lord and maybe we can leave early. We can fly thru the back walls and we'll be home." he said
"Wait Lord Michael! I'm the guest of honor! I can't leave until the banquet is over. You can't leave me behind!" (Ye Yan)
Michael and larry just stayed quiet and whistled.??
"Traitors!" ?
They greeted the city lord.
"Yo old man! How's it going? I'll give you an E for effort." he said
"Hahaha! Well atleast it's not a Z. I want to introduce you to my son here. His name is Ye Han. Son this here is Sir Michael who live at the manor behind us. And with him is your ancestor Ye Yan the founder of glory city so show your respect. And the last one is Larry the saber wolf the guard." (Ye Zong)
"h.e.l.lo Lord Michael, my father talked about you alot that it feels like your part of the family already. I thank you for the scarlet blood crystals you gifted to us. And lord Ye Yan, you are the pride and glory of the family, please look after us. Mr. Larry, I truly respect your strength. Truly the strongest saber wolf I have ever met, truly an honor." ( Ye Yan)
"Wow, you talk well. But just call me Michael, were the same age. It's nice to meet you too." he said
"It's good to meet you decendant. You have to work hard to keep the city safe. You have the responsibility as the next city lord." (Ye Yan said with pride and dignity)?
While he was saying this. Both Michael and Larry was trying to control their laughter.

They got escorted by Ye Ziyun to their seats.
"Hey Ziyun! What are we suppose to do in a banquet? Are there games or excitement to keep guest entertained." he said
"Sorry Michael, none whatsoever. There is the courts, but it's always full of soldiers playing. The chess boards are being used by the elders. So thats it." (Ye Ziyun)
"Okay thanks, I'll think of something." he said
Ye Ziyun was confused why he said that but didn't mind. She left to escort other people to their seats.
Nie Li came with Nie Yu. Nie yu saw Michael and ran over to him and sit beside him. While Nie Li keep saying Father-in-law to Ye Zong in which p.i.s.sed off Ye Han. Nie Li sat down next to Nie Yu.
"Yo, Nie Li. What do you think of your love rival. He's pretty decent." he said
"I'll manage and win in the end. hehe" (Nie Li)
"Brother Nie Li is the best." (Nie Yu)?
"Nie Yu, You said I was the best~." he said ?
"Oh! Brother Michael is the best and Brother Nie Li is second!" (Nie Yu) ?
"Stop brainwashing my cousin with that charm of yous! Honestly!" (Nie Li)
The evening went as expected. Long and boring. Michael and Larry tried to get away but then their arms got grabbed by Ye Yan. Nie Yu was sleeping on the seat.
"Since I can't get away.." he said
He pulled out a black jack table like the one in casinos and a deck of cards. He pulled out 3 stools for the players. He pulls a chart of winning hands and rules to play the game. At first he demonstrated how to play the game and how to do bettings for fun. People around got interested and started playing. At first they were just betting 1 demon coin each but whrn they got blackjack, the winning payback was 1.5 times greater. People started to bet more. Then asked the city lord servants to take over. They were very happy since everytime a player win big, they give the servants tips. Within an hour, they got tips more than their monthly salaries.
Michael pulled out more blackjack tables and let the servants be the dealers. The city lord was stuck at the table playing and asked Michael for more tables. So he ended up having 15 black jack tables while the other servants served drinks directly to the players. And the players also tipped the waiters since they didnt want to loose their seat on the table.
Michael then pulled out a roulette table so more people can play at a time. He explained the rules and winning combinations. The city lord provided the funds for the wins, but it ended up the city lord made more than loosing. It was pure profit for the city lord which put a smile on his face. The bettings have a limit so it wouldn't hurt anyone financially.
Ye Yan and Larry was now having fun playing and try to think of a strategy to win.
Soon Michael pulled out poker tables so people can play without dealers. He explained how to bet and the dealers rotate among themselves. The high and low bets.
Then he pulls out slot machines. He filled it with 1000 demon coins to whoever wins the jackpot and amount will keep adding as people loose. He put a chart of winning combination and different amount of winnings. He put 5 of them and they were already lines to try the machines with people hoping to win the money.
The place became a casino. Michael even built a mini powerplant by using a sword as a medium but he made the sword a gold rank thunder sword to provide electricity forever. He put lights around the hall so its like daytime at night. People outside the hall wanted to come and since everybody's focus on playing, they ended up sneaking in. The soldiers also played the games. Making Michael to add more slot machines, poker tables and so on. The city lord is happy making money faster than before so he let go of the people sneaking in. He decided to seperate the hall in the future as a casino for the public.
"Hey Ye Yan! Larry! It's time to go home! Let's go!" he said
"You go ahead master! I'm trying to win back my money!" (Larry)
"Same here Lord Michael. I won a little, but I think I know the secrets now." (Ye Yan)
"I think you guys have a gambling problem" he said.
Michael ended up going home with Nie Li and Nie Yu.
A lot of people started crowding the city lord main hall to play the games at a chance of winning big. The jackpot on the slot machine bacame 100,000 demon coins. The slot machine earned the city lord 200,000 and decided the jackpot half the profit. A lot of people stayed in the casino for days, and the servants became rich on tips alone. City lord got some of the blacksmith to study 1 slot machine to replicate it. The hall soon was renamed the gambling hall. People who lost to much was provided work to get their money back, giving the city lord free workers for the road maintenance and other odd jobs around the city. There were alot of winners also. Every week about 3 people won the jackpot but it doesn't even dent the profits coming in. Some gamblers won big and thinks they can win big again in which ended up losing it all back to the casino.
Ye Yan and Larry became a frequent guest of the gambling hall because they have money they earn as a master alchemist. Also director Yang was there everyday. She liked gambling and could see her at the high limit tables. She usually bet alchemy pills.
Soon, the alchemy a.s.sociation also build a casino rivaling the city lord but it didn't dent any profits from the city lord because it created mote gamblers, but also created more jobs. The table dealers was earning as much as an apprentice alchemist.
The profits the city lord made was put to good use. They set up an orphanage, a halfway houses for the homeless and also find jobs and food to feed them.
Nie Li also finished the defensive array thanks to the extra workers the city lord provided. The defense of the city walls was upgraded with inscriptions. On top of the walls, there are storerooms filled with scarlet ghost blood bombs. There was a safety measure to the bombs. It will only be armed when a demon beast reached 200 yards of the city walls where it is an effective throwing range. The bombs are powerful by Michael's modification. It can kill up to black gold demon beast. The inscriptions also make it so it do not explode inside the city walls.
They also created traps and an electrified moat by using a thunder sword as a medium.
In the house Ye Han got interested on the 3rd floor bas.e.m.e.nt training grounds. He keeps pa.s.sing out and when he wakes up outside the barrier, he was a little stronger. Ye Yan was there with him since he feels responsible to make his descendant strong since he carry the family name.
Nie Li in didn't want to undone also did the same. The 2 became rivals and advancing at the same pace. They are both now 5-star gold rank thanks to the scarlet blood crystal ores and the energies of the 3rd bas.e.m.e.nt. Ye Yan also gave Ye Han better cultivation methods and a sword that rivals Nie Li's sword.
On the training ground behind the house. Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er was meditating and absorbing the scarlet blood crystal ores. Around them were Du ze, Lu Piao, Wei Nan, Li Xingyun, Gu Bei and Xiao Yu also absorbing the ores.
Inside the 3rd floor bas.e.m.e.nt Ye Zong broke through the 1-star Legend rank and now absorbing spiriy stones and scarlet blood crystal ores. He was there together with Ye Hong, Ye Xiu, Ye Ming and Ye Shou. It was the elders of the family. They all are increasing their ranks the black/ gold.
In the kitchen, Curly was teaching her now growing cla.s.s. It now include Maggie Seth of the Seth restaurant, Nie Yu, Xiao Yun and Miao Ling. Their lesson at this time is fermentation of miso.
Duan Jian kept out of site and guard the 4th and 4th bas.e.m.e.nt. He spend his time talking to Kelly Bundy through
Michael on the other hand, started the construction of the mansion next door. The mansion is more like a building than a mansion with many rooms. He is planning to increase his coven. He was earning so much from pill sales that he start to give away some demon coins to the poor people. They started to call him Saint Michael.
The mansion/building is connected to the 4th and 5th floor bas.e.m.e.nt. The first floor has 3 dining halls, 2 master kitchens, 2 living rooms, 8 bathrooms, 1 freezer room, 2 pantry rooms, 1 refrigerated room and 1 waiting room.
The second floor has 10 large bedrooms complete with their own bathroom and a walk in closet. 2 storeroom for cleaning materials and extra towels. 1 Laundry room
The third floor is the same as the second floor. The forth floor is all Michael's territory. He has his bedroom and master bathroom. He has a Laundry room and his research room. He also have a living room, dining room and a small kitchen. Also a studio for music research.
The fifth floor of the building are the a/c units that supply the vents on all floors. Dehumidifiers. Battery generators (he made Lithium batteries)
The roof have solar power and wind turbines.
The 1st floor bas.e.m.e.nt have an 8-lane bowling alley. 1 kitchen and dining room, 8 bathrooms and 2 ice rink complete with locker room and seats for fans.
The 2nd floor is the water treatment plant that take water from the lake and filter through
The 3rd floor bas.e.m.e.nt is the same as the other house 3rd floor bas.e.m.e.nt.
The perimeter walls around the mansion is the same as the house. He didnt need a moat or waterwheel anymore since the water treatment plant take care of it. He also build a hanger and put 6 full size basketball courts complete with stadium seats locker room and bathrooms.
On the side of the house, he created a water park complete with slides twisting and zigzagging. The front yard was a football field complete with track field and benches for spectators and on the side of it is the baseball field.
By the lake, he created a peir and a boat house.
He finished everything in 2 weeks. Since he often go to the peir and go fishing.
