The next day the city lor and his trusted aid Ye Ming visited Michael's Villa home.
Michael informed the wolves that they have permission to enter, so they won't bother them and stand guard.
The City Lord (YeZong) was awestrucked to see powerful beast inside the city.
"Are those saber wolves? How are they so powerful?! I can't sense how much but they are even morw powerful than I am and I'm a 5-star black/gold rank!" (Ye Zong)
"These are too dangerous to be allowed in the city my lord! We have to do something!" (Ye Ming)
"Don't worry City lord! They are completely loyal to me, I guarantee that. Besides I'm even more powerful than them!" he said
"Wh-What!!!" (Ye Zong & Ye Ming)
They had their jaws drop at the revelation.
"Unbelievable! Your so young and already a legend rank!" (Ye Zong)
"Genius! Pure genius! We have to spread the word. You are the youngest legend rank of all time!" (Ye Ming)
"Of course! In want to travel to the realm of immortal cultivators. To them this is nothing!" he said
"You know about the realm of immortals? We thought our family is the only one who knows it. Haaa~ is there a chance you can keep these a secret.?" (Ye Zong)
"Well let's get a seat first before we talk." he said
They walked thru the front yard. Ye Zong and Ye Ming have wandering eyes at new things they are seeing. They pa.s.s by the green room and was surpriced at the architecture. They also admired the water wheel then looked at the swing at started playing.
"Are these people kids?" he said
"Quickly Ming! Take note of this we have to make this thing in our garden. What is this Sir Michael?!" (Ye Zong)
"It's called a swing! And if you want instruction and methods to make it, I can give you the manuals." he said
"Really! That will be great!" ( Ye Zong)
He pulled out a manual on swing and slide set and pa.s.s to Ye Zong.
They came across the basketball court and wondered how to play it. He also gave the rules on how to play basketball manual to them. They reviewed the book intensively on the benches of the court like their lives dependent only. Then played a game. Michael just watch the 2 played one on one.
"You cannot pa.s.s me lord Zong! I studied tge best defense to cover your shot!" (Ye Ming)
"Haa! You wish I have a special move to breakthrough you maggot!"(Ye Zong)
Ye Zong did a turnaround fakie and drived for a slam dunk. After an hour of playing, they where exhauster. He offered them cold refreshments.
"Ahhh! This drinks are refreshingly cold! Do you have ice affinity?" (Ye Zong)
"Kinda~But that came out of the fridge room." he said
"What is a fridge room?" (Ye Ming)
"Let's go inside the house!" he said
Since they stink of sweat, he activated
They entered the house and became awestruck of the design of the living room. The ceiling fan was running and there are crystal chandelier. The couches are the softest they ever felt. The coffee table was made of marble and there is a bar on the wall with foreign wine in bottles.
"Why is it so windy inside the house but the windows are all closed?" (Ye Zong)
"Those are ceiling fans! They ran all day and night. Come! You said you wanted to know what a fridge room is right?" he said
They nodded and followed him. They came acriss a stainless steel doors with no locks. The moment he opened the steel doors, cold air pumped out of the room.
The fridge was filled with dairy products, juices in jars, fruits and much much more.
"This the fridge! I keep things that spoil easy here. I put the eggs and milk from my farm at the backyard here. The next door is called the freezer, That's where i keep the meats and ice cubes.!" he said
He then escorted them to another stainless metal door and opened it. The temperature was much colder that they can see their breath turned to fog.
Afterwards, he showed them one of the bathrooms. Both guest was amazed how everything works. With a turn of a k.n.o.b clean fresh water come out.
While they were in the bathroom, Michael filled the dining table with food and drinks.
"Okay time to eat you guys!" he called out
The two wandering grown ups came to the dining hall and sat on their seats. They look at the plates and silver ware.
"This utterly amazing craftmanship. This cup is made of gla.s.s but it's very durable." (Ye Ming)
"Okay eat up! The food is from a famous restaurant in the Seth Inn! Go on and dig in!" he said.
"Really!" (Both Ye Zong & Ye Ming)
They are to busy in the family business that they can't make reservation in the restaurant so this was a treat for them.
After lunch, he gave them cake for desserts. Both guess were in heaven.
"So, let's continue our talk. Why keep the secret realm a secret?" he asked
The city lord turned serious.
"Because a hundred years ago, immortal cultivators didn't bother us humans and stayed in their realm until the immortal realm got conquered by and evil immortal. That evil immortal started killing everyone. It taken hundreds of immortal cultivators to seal the evil being and for our safety sealed the realm openings. That is why Snow wind family is task to find genuises like yourself and cultivate them pa.s.sed the demon beast level. In order to protect us from the demon beast horde legend rank spirit cultivators sacrificed themselve to form a barrier between us and the outside world. One of those legend rank is my ancestor named Ye Yan who is the founder of glory city. We still don't know how long the barrier would last, we can feel it weakening each generation."
"I see. I might have to change my plan again. Oh well I have forever to go anyways. It's good to have goals or it will be boring." he said to himself
"Oh! Let me show you my backyard. It is my pride and joy." he said
They head towards the patio deck and saw another weird thing.
"Sir Michael! What is this?" (Ye Ming)
"That one is called a dart game!" he said
He pulled the rules manual and both guest studied hard. They started playing seriously, so he gave them cold beer which is perfect for playing darts.
After another hour we continued to the farm animals and in the veranda is another game.
"What is that game?" (Ye Zong)
"It's called billiards!" he said
He gave them the rule book and taught them how to hold the billiard stick. They played for another hour while drinking beer. It's okay for Michael, since it reminded him of his happy times when he was in the Navy back on earth.
After touring the backyard. Both guest were amazed that he have rare herbs growing and then found out he is a master alchemist.
Ye Zong and Ye Ming wasn't surprise anymore. They are looking at a pure genius and they want to learn all the workings of his house. And importantly, they want to develope the games that they just played.
"So you up for one last game? The game is in the bas.e.m.e.nt! I just finished it yesterday!" he said.
The two nodded and went down the bas.e.m.e.nt. There they where awed at the sight of a 5-lane bowling alley. Complete of rental shoes and a little kitchen for frying fried foods. What surprised them was the lights. It was like daytime in the bas.e.m.e.nt.
He gave them the rule book. While the 2 study the rules and how to play the game. He measured their feet and gave them appropriate shoes. The two keep sliding and having fun.
The 2 started playing and he went to cook fried chicken and fries.
Later the 2 guess were arguing regarding tge score sheet. One accuses the other cheating. The arguing stopped when i presented the food and beer.
By the time they left the bas.e.m.e.nt it was already dark. Both guess started to stumbly walk back home. They were drunkenly laughing while walking.
The next day, the city lord started to renovate some buildings, and making a full court basketball court. They also did indoor bowling alley, darts and a playground in the yard. The city lord also ordered the scribbers to copy the rule books they got.
"Aaah~ Peace at last...zzzz." ???
He fell asleep in the hammock between 2 fruit trees.
2 days later...
The Chen Linjian expedition returned. He became a hero in bringing back the treasures.
"It is almost time for Nie Li's bet with with Shen Xiu. I think I'm going to the heavenly sacred border sonce I got the permission slip from the city lord." he said
He headed straight to the princ.i.p.al and let him enter the tower where the gate to another dimension where the sacred border is. The s.p.a.ce started to warp and he was in a white room.
He sat down to meditate. He absorbed the qi and soul force at a fast rate.
"What the h.e.l.l is happening?! The energy is shrinking!" (Ye Yan)
Ye Yan floated around trying to find the disturbance. He was shocked to see a kid absorbing a huge amount of energy.
"Hey kid! absorb the energy slower. The realm need this energy to keep going!" (Ye Yan)
"1 million soul force! I'm now a 4-star legend rank! hehehe? he said
"Hey Ye Yan! How's it going?!" he said
"What? You know me? After all this time I thought I have been forgotten." (Ye Yan)
"Can you take me to the thunder G.o.d meteorite sword?!" he said
"You know about that! Well I can't just take anybody. How about you become my disciple then maybe I can take you to where it is. Without me, no one can go there." (Ye Yan)
"Oh! Nevermind then. "WWait! Don't go there ! There are lightning tribulations there! Hey!..Hey!" (Ye Yan)
He kept walking. The clouds became so dark. Then the lightning started to strike Michael continuously. He can feel his const.i.tution is changing.
"Th-This is Qi! My Qi cultivation is rising." he said
He sat down and let the lightning hit him again and again. Ye Yan was in disbelief. He cannot believe a person regenerates instantly. He started to think with that body he can cultivate to a higher plane to immortality.
After a whole day of lightning strikes. It stopped. Michael was dumbfounded.
"What the f-? Where's the lightning?! Who stopped my lightning!" he angrily cried
"Kid! You broke away from legend rank. This place is only for legend rank and below. It will be hard to find the energy to advance further! (Ye Yan)
"So I'm in the 1-fate Heavenly fate rank. I have to comprehend laws now in order to advance further." he said
"Hey Ye Yan! Would you like to live again, but there will be conditions?!" he said
"What condition are we talking about?" (Ye yan)
"You have to join my coven which will make me your master. As you can see, i am not all human. I am an immortal vamphir! It means you are going to serve me forever. in exchange, you will be given freedom to do whatever you want unless we need you. And also gift you powers you only dream of. And last benefit is, if grow stronger, my coven also get stronger due to the blood contract. So what do you say?" he said "And also, you can have that sword if you want."
"Really! I can accept that! Do it master!" (Ye Yan)
"Okay here I go!" he said.
He activated
"There you go Ye Yan, welcome back to the land of the living!" he said
Ye Yan started to feel his face and cannot feel his beard, he then ran to the river to see what he look like.
"Oh Yeah! I forgot to tell you. Your looks will be the same as when you are 21 forever! Not bad right!" he said
Ye Yan began crying. He tried to stoo crying but the feeling was overwhelmin.
"Thank you Master! I Ye Yan will forever serve you with all my heart." (Ye Yan)
"That's good and all, but I don't swing that way! hehehe. Come on! Let's get you your sword." he said
Ye Yan was surprised that he is now at the peak legend rank. He was only a 1 star legend rank before.
He came close to the sword and the lightning strike, but to his surprise he did not feel a thing except power flowing. Now he knows why his master was so p.i.s.sed when the lightning strikes. He sat down and receive all the lightning while Michael was just sitting under the tree trying to comprehend anything to advance. He is getting help from Nie Li's memories. Then he looked at Ye Yan.
"He looks like the younger version of the city lord Ye Zong. People might think he is an illegitimate child of his. Now that will be funny." he said.
After another day, the lightning stopped. Ye Yan is now the same rank as Michael.
"Hmm~It seems they cultivate slower than me. Maybe it's his cultivation technique. Oh well. Time to get up." he said
Ye Yan has a smile on his face. Then he easily subdued the sword. Then they stepped out of the tower. It was already night time.

They flew out back to the house. Ye Yan taken the long way back, since he was enjoying the air and the wind in his face. It was good to be alive.
When he got down to the house, He was full of questions on how and what around the house. It taken till the next day of teaching how everything works.
