The Road to Slaying God Chapter 35

CHAPTER 35: LIU BIAO VS LU FEI

“I’m depressed, it’s been a few days since I haven’t seen
Zhang Yang. I’ve got several math problems that I wanted to consult with him
but I don’t know where he’s fooling around, hmph,  … crazy s.e.x maniac … must be hiding in some
corner out there. I do not know if he still has my pictures …”

….

After seeing those lines, a cold sweat streamed down his spine.
He never thought that a girl would have so many contradictory ideas. What’s
inconceivable was that, clearly, he had a.s.saulted Xiao Yiran, but she actually
still wanted to ask for his advice on math problems …. Truly a woman’s heart,
like a needle on the bottom of the sea!

Of course, Zhang yang was also secretly proud of himself. He
never thought that he actually has such an important position in the mind of a
G.o.ddess, of course, he would be proud. Zhang Yang didn’t believe that he had
enough charm to embrace a beauty.

“Lu Fei … … several times admitted to Tsinghua University?”

Zhang Yang slide the mouse, murmuring to himself when
suddenly, he remembered someone, and the country’s most famous entrance
examination. He finally understood why Lu Fei’s name seemed familiar because in
the past, he often used to see the name. The news were overwhelmed with that
name, and it also once occupied the headlines of major websites.

Zhang Yang’s fingers were nonstop on the keyboard, and soon,
Lu Fei’s information surfaced out. He was just searching for a moment inside
Baidu Search Engine when unexpectedly hundreds of thousands of Lu Fei’s data
appeared.

Looking at the pages on the screen one by one, Zhang Yang
felt cold down his spine.

Lu Fei, male, from X province, X city was once admitted to
the Beijing University but because he was addicted to online games he was
persuaded to quit, and later he was again admitted. The following year, he
pa.s.sed the entrance exam to Tsinghua University….

Looking at Lu Fei’s information, Zhang Yang felt an overwhelming
pressure. He had never thought that the person he loathed was actually a
genius. The only word that could describe was “genius”, for someone who got
admitted to both Beijing and Tsinghua University would only be described as ‘geniuses’.

Even more shocking information for Zhang Yang was that,
according to statistics, every subject Lu Fei chose for the entrance at the
Tsinghua University were totally different, almost covering all the education
department.

There were thousands of data where most of them were
reprinted but the content was same. There were many redundant information but
Zhang Yang patiently searched. His sub consciousness was telling him that for
people to acknowledge Lu Fei as someone special, it’s absolutely impossible
that he had only one talent and a simple ident.i.ty.

Time pa.s.sed quickly, after more than two hours, Zhang Yang
still found no clue of the existing values but Zhang Yang still didn’t stopped.
His patience was surprisingly good. He then, began to search for some comments
and messages, hoping that he’d find something valuable in it.

Zhang Yan’s att.i.tude towards life was changing in many ways.
If it was in the past, then he would never do such boring stuffs but now that
Zhang Yang has a qualitative change in his thoughts, it became a considerably
important task to understand his opponent.

“Know your enemy first, to be
victorious!!” ‘This was the golden rule in Sun Tzu’s the Art Of War.’

“Finally, there’s no
difficulty in earth that cannot be overcome if men but set their minds on it.”
#idiom

Zhang Ynag found a small
message reply.

“Lu Dawei, Lu Fei’s father, a
senior offcer of a provincial party, because of his involvement in the
corruption of large sum of money, was sentenced to death and immediately
executed …”

Son of a high ranking
officer!

Zhang Yang involuntarily
frowned. No wonder, Lu Fei has the difficulty to conceal the odour of his
arrogance. It was originated from his childhood. But, this guy’s father has
been overthrown for many years, so, why could he still be so arrogant?

Since Lu Fei ia the son of a
high ranking officer, what about Du Xue?

To be friends with Lu Fei, Du
Xue’s must also be from higher status.

Suddenly, Zhang Yang
remembered that the old maid told him to stay away from Du Xue. What could Du
Xue attemp to do?

The more he thought about it,
the more he recalled his memory from the train incident. Although Du Xue looked
very scared, there seemed to be sensation of calmness before  great storms. Even after returning to school
for few days, Du Xue didn’t send him his wallet, however, just after he went to
the chinese department, DuXue immediatey met him at the door, is there any
connection?

More importanly, he
encountered Du Xue everyday in the library, and Du Xue actually carefully
prepared cake and water for him, it didn’t seem as a coincidence. It was a bit
illogical.

Why?

Xhang Yang was baffled. It
could be explained if he was rich and powerful, but, he is just a poor student,
not even worth taking advantage of, why
would Du Xue get close to him?

Furtherfore, only after Du
Xue approached him, Lu Fei’s hostility clearly rised towards him, has reached
to the point where is provocations are bare, without scruple…why?

The more Zhang Yang thought
about it, the more he felt strange, but he couldn’t find the root cause.

There were a lot of
inexplicable things, including that the old librarian was also full of doubt
and suspicions. Such as ,Lu Fei, this arrogant man was afraid of the old maid.
He didn’t know what kind of person she was. The most surprising thing for him
was that, the old maid told him that she didn’t know any Kung Fu, but, Zhang
Yang clearly felt the old woman’s body emitting out a murderous aura. After the
explosion, he was quite sensitive on the murderous intentions. On the train, he
could sense the murderous intent of the robbers even before they entered the
compartment. Meanwhile the  death aura of
this old maid was casually hundred times more than that those voilent
robbers…..

“Can a person without the knowledge of Kung Fu have such
murderous aura?

“Driiip …….” #message tone

Zhang Yang was feeling as if his head was going to explode,
just when a message came in his QQ.

“Are you there?” Zhang Yang’s QQ was stealth, the other
party asked.

“Are you there?”

It was Zhang Yang’s cla.s.smate.

“We are looking for you. I know you are online, there’s
something big going on here ….”

“What’s the matter?” Zhang Yang asked curiously.

“Liu Biao and Lu Fei had a fight. His legs and ribs are
broken and he’s still unconscious, and was taken to the First People’s hospital
….”

“Why?” Zhang Yang stood up.

“It’s not your fault, don’t know who told him or where he
heard that Lu fei was bullying you in the library, he brought three men with
him to fight Lu Fei but resulted in them getting severely injured. And now all
four of them are in hospital, you have to go, Liu Biao is still in the
emergency room… …”

…..

Zhang Yang didn’t type anything as his friend went offline
….

Liu Biao was not only his best friend, but also his only
friend in C City. Although Zhang Yang had a cowardly personality, his
friendship with Liu Biao was more important for him than anything else. And
precisely, because of that, Liu Biao requested him to ‘stand guard’ in the
alley. Although, he didn’t wanted to engage in those kind of s.h.i.ts, he still
went because he cherished his friendship with LiuBiao. Similarly, Liu Biao was
also fond of Zhang yang. Between them, there was a mutual understanding, a kind
of inexplicable understanding.

“The First People’s hospital!”

“Oh …” The driver carefully looked at the teenager from the
rearview mirror. He could clearly see the fierce expression on the boy’s face,
full of ferocious color which led the driver to feel terrified.

The driver also realized that Zhang Yang was worried, so steered
the taxi at a lightning speed.

…………

“Why did you stop?” Zhang Yang
grabbed the stainless railing inside the taxi, his eyes looked blood thirsty.

“Red … red light … …” The driver
was completely sterned by Zhang Yang’s murderous look. His voice was full of
fear. He never expected that a young boy would possess such ominous look.

“Go from the left!!” Zhang Yang
glanced at the front of the taxi. At that intersection they must wait for at
least two red light. While speaking, Zhang Yang drew a few hundred yuan from
his wallet and threw it on the front seat from the gap on the stainless steel.

“But ..”

The driver didn’t speak and
steered the wheel into the traffic and crossed the red light, because he had no
choice. He saw some eyes on him from the rear view mirror…

Fortunately, from there on, it
was a very smooth ride to the hospital.

“Gyaahh …”

The taxi stopped in front of the hospital, the tires
screeched from the friction. Even before the car had completely stopped, the
teenager gushed out like a blow of wind and rushed into the hospital. The taxi
driver couldn’t help but led a long sigh of relief. He felt suffocated as long
as the juvenile sat in his taxi.

‘All of sudden!!!”

While he was reversing the taxi, the driver felt a chill
down his spine. To his surprise, the anti-robbery stainless steel railing was
pinched open with two big holes, and that was where the young teenager grabbed
with his hands …..
