My voice somehow managed to find its way out of my mouth even with the sobbing between my screams.
I felt like something had struck me hard enough to snap my spine. The pain was so agonizing yet it started to numb away due to how nauseous I was feeling. At that time, I started to hear the buzz of the people from my surroundings.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was in a dimly lit room. When had the sun set? It was morning just a bit ago.
I thought that I had lost consciousness while unaware, but then I immediately realize that’s not the case.
I lay down on my back and looked up at the ceiling; there were countless stalact.i.te hanging down
This wasn’t just an accident.
Feeling confused, I looked around frantically. Just a minute ago I was at the entrance of my house but now I’m in a cave I’ve never seen before.
The cave was vast and full of stalact.i.tes. There were huge rock pillars here and there that had candle lights installed on them, and that made it a fantastic sight to someone like me who’s never been in a cave before.
After surveying the surroundings, I turn my attention to the group of people that were here. There were a several dozen people wearing black robes that covered their whole body, head to toe. They were kneeling on the ground as if praying.
They stared at me as if they were in a daze
“……Where am I?”
A feeble voice came out of my mouth, and an old man in the front row of people suddenly jumped up and exclaimed.
“Owa! Owa!”
The words that came out of the old man’s mouth was not in any language or intonation that I’d ever heard.
“Diha Noiha? Ferro run Diran Noiha!?”
What is this guy saying?
What the heck? Who are you?
I was just at home! Where am I now?
Those questions immediately came into my mind, but my mental state would suffer some significant damage if I kept pondering on things like that so I let it pa.s.s for now.
With each pa.s.sing second, my unhappiness and nausea got worse. It was sort of like the time when I drank the whiskey that my relatives brought one New Years Day. My whole body felt hot and the inside of my head was throbbing so hard that it felt like my skull would crack.
Writhing in pain, I rolled around on my back until I noticed a woman looking down at me. She raised a small scream.
No, it was not a human woman.
I take a glimpse at the sharp fangs hanging down from her lips. She had fingers stretched so much that they could almost wrap completely around me. At the ends of those fingers were sharp claws. Rather than a woman, it seemed more like a devil resembling a woman.
Suddenly, the old man touched my head.
He slowly got on his knees to get a closer look at me. He moved my bangs aside with trembling hands. Glancing at my forehead, his eyes widened with a hint of sparkling youthfulness in them.
“Uz Yakuha KIHA! Eddy Migu domination!”
Jumping up and down in excitement, the old man kept on shouting.
“Uz Migu! Eddy Migu Auranosu!”
When the old man look back to the other people, He spread his hands out wide and raised his joyful voice. The people returned with a huge, ecstatic chant.
