Chapter 77- Fighting Technique
A few minutes after leaving the guild, I arrived in front of the city gates, and there stood the Gatekeeper as usual.


 


“Oya, Yuma-san, are you going somewhere again? Recently, Yuma-san seems to be overworking a little, isn’t it fine to rest a little?”


 


“Thank you very much for worrying about me, but I am completely fine. I'm quite confident in my physical prowess! Two-three days of fighting without rest is completely fine for me.”





 


“Fumu, that is quite splendid, this is what it means to be filled with youthful vigor.”


 


“Ha, Ha, Well~, I am already 25 years old, so I don’t think that applies to me.”

After that, I talked to the Gatekeeper for a while.

And then, I ran toward the Gordo Forest at full speed.

After running at full speed for a few seconds, I was able to arrive safely at the entrance to the Gordo Forest.

If I am at this speed, then surely Minarisu-san is definitely faster than me.


Well~, Minarisu-san is not as normal as she looks.

And then, I entered the Gordo Forest. As soon as I entered, my skill for Sign Perception started ringing, so I looked towards the direction where the monster presence was coming from.


 


“It’s not that far.”


 


I could see there was a Hobgoblin. Even if I do take this one down though, the amount of experience that I obtain will be considerably low. I wonder if I can take down mountains of them so I can pile up experience, i'll just take it down for now.


And so, I took out my weapon.


 


“No, stop. If it’s this guy, then going in barehanded might be more useful because it’s pretty weak. Alright, i'll take care of this one with my bare hands”


 


Alright, I have already decided on the method, i'll try to take care of it with some techniques. It’s practice time, but I won’t be using Sign Isolation this time.


 


And so, I stood in front of the Hobgoblin.


 


The Hobgoblin noticed me, and ran toward where I was. Perhaps, it was thinking that I would be able to take me down using that huge club in its hand. When the club was just a few inches away from hitting me, I stood battle ready with my fists to welcome it.


 


The movements of the Hobgoblin became extremely slow, almost as if time had stopped, and I could see it growling while rushing toward me with it’s weapon waving in an exaggerated fashion.


 


 


Well~, I guess gaps are gaps. Do you think that attack will hit me? I swung my fist toward the abdomen of the Hobgoblin that was full of gaps and said,


 


“TAKE THIS!!”


 


It was a clenched fist karate attack.


Well~, naturally, I have never learned karate before, but it was a seemingly simple karate thrust.


However, the power behind it was more than enough.


 


“Giyaaaaaaaaaaa…...”


 


The thrust easily pa.s.sed through the Hobgoblin’s abdomen which killed it instantly.


 


“Hmm, it was just a simple thrust, but it was quite powerful as well.”


 


Alright then, will I start looking for the next one?


And so, I walked for a few more minutes, and the next victim appeared.


 


“Oh? It's a Hobgoblin again? Alright, let's go for its head this time.”


 


I quietly approached the back of the goblin, and then caught it’s neck vertebrae while applying pressure and power to fold it in half.


 


“Huuu!!”


 


Rather than breaking the cervical vertebrae, it seemed more like all of the bones were squeezed out together at the base of the next.


Of course, the Hobgoblin died without even being able to raise a sound.


 


“Oi, Oi, are you serious? I just lightly tried to break its neck, but isn’t this a little too much?”


 


Well~, if I just thought about it for a moment, then it’s obvious that right now I have the same amount of force as that of a Cyclops……..the same power level as that monster, huh. Right now, I feel kinda sad from having so much strength right now.


 


Well, anyway, it’s better to be careful when shaking hands with people from now on. If I were to lightly squeeze someone’s hand, I might just crush someone to nothingness….


 


“Alright, i’ll think about this later on, it’s time to restart the search for the Golden Rabbitsu.”


 


I then kept searching for the Golden Rabbitsu while taking of monsters appropriately along the way with just my bare hands. After a few hours of repeated searching, I just thought of giving up on finding it while thinking of returning home, when I finally succeeded in finding the target monster.”


 


Oh, this is probably the Golden Rabbitsu! It looks just like a Rabbitsu, but its fur color is completely different, it’s golden based on it’s name.


Alright then, I guess it’s time to take it down quickly. I’ll activate Sign Isolation and take out Demon Ripper. I'm ready, i'm going in!


I moved to the back of the Golden Rabbitsu, and while imbuing magic into the Demon Ripper, I swung it toward its neck, and the Golden Rabbitsu’s head dropped down splendidly.


 


“Alright!”


 


Quest Complete. As I thought, Sign Isolation is a cheat skill against these kind of opponents.


 


“Oh wait, how much levels did I gain?”


 


I hurriedly opened my status menu,

Right now, according to my current status, my strength stats have completely overtaken the Cyclops to the point of being able to fight with a Cyclops barehanded. Next up is agility, it has finally broken through the 300’s and Luck has finally crossed over a 1000……..Ever since I have come into this world, I have certainly did many things, but maybe this Luck stat had a major influence on all those events, it is definitely a cheat skill. As per my aim for today though, I have already acquired barehanded fighting technique, and it’s already Level 2. It will certainly increase in level quickly if I continue to deal with such small fry while using my bare hands to take them down. Although I gained a t.i.tle at the end, there may not be a decent amount of bare handed fighters.”


 


Yeah, this is a lot more than I expected.


 


I never would have guessed that I would have been able to earn so much experience after just taking down one of them. If it’s like this, then I shall make a trip to Gordo Forest tomorrow as well. Until I can view Minarisu-san’s status at least, I shall continue to to hunt Golden Rabbitsu here.


Now, although I wish to continue hunting here, but the time is already quite late.


At the very least, I wish to return home before the sun sets.Well, I guess I can go home for now.


A few minutes after I was out of the Gordo Forest, I was running at full speed toward Forxx.
