I let out a sigh of relief I didn't think it would go so well. Aside from the few laser blasts I took I winced rubbing a few burns. It was a good thing I brought those smoke bombs if not I don't think I would have been able to get pa.s.sed all the Securitrons.As awesome as laser weapons are they kind of suck in situations like this. All of their energy gets scattered by the smoke making the nothing more than glorified flashlights.Getting rid of any useless thoughts I focused on the task at hand. As long as House was still connected to his systems there was still a chance he could stop me. So I unlocked his secret elevator and took it down to the Antechamber House's home for the past 200 years.On the trip down I open up my skills list because I finally reached level 20 after killing those Securitrons.I put all 15 points into Speech because I was going to be dealing with a lot of the bigger factions soon and a high Speech skill would make a lot of things easier.As for the perk I was very tempted to get Grim Reaper's Sprint which would give me +20 AP every time I got a kill in VATS a gave it up and chose Robotics Expert. It was a perk I could have gotten as far back as level 12 but, put it off because there were better perks available.Now though Robotics Expert was exactly what I needed. My main reason for getting it was because I wanted to see if it was going to give me knowledge about robots work and how to program them.Which was something I didn't know yet, and seemed like it would be pretty useful considering I was going to be the proud owner of a robot army soon.Once I was done with my level up I opened my Pipboy to check my stats.SpecialS 5P 6(8)E 5(6)C 5(7)I 10A 5(6)L 5SkillsBarter 50Energy Weapons 15Explosives 19Guns 100Lockpick 50Medicine 30Melee Weapons 15Repair 80Science 84Sneak 50Speech 65Survival 20Unarmed 25PerksConfirmed Bachelor, Intense Training(1), Friend Of The Night, Commando, Comprehension, Sniper, Adamantium Skeleton, Action Boy, Weapon Handling, Robotics ExpertI closed it satisfied with my stats especially considering I could still go up another 30 levels. Which meant 450 more Skill points and 15 more Perks, which isn't even counting Cybernetic enhancements and other acquired Perks.The elevator continued to descend far deeper than ground level and it was over five minutes before it stopped.I stepped out onto a metal catwalk suspended above a giant underground room.At the end of the catwalk I could see a lone computer and the sealed chamber that has kept Mr. House alive for hundreds of years.
