It Became a Serious Thing Prologue

Presenting It Became A Serious Thing!

It is a short one with only foureen parts.

The s.m.u.t is very nice. The hero is very h.o.r.n.y, the heroine is very malleable. This translator has crooked morals.

There is reluctance, indication of non-consent as well and adultery. So if anyone is averse to that, please don't read and then go and complain about it after you've finished enjoying the hanky panky parts.

I enjoyed it. It was very easy to work on. Of course, there were idiot parts here and there, but it was mostly aight.

It Became a Serious Thing! CHAPTER 0 – Colette
Cake

‘Colette, there’s a package for
you. We have to see that you don’t have any contraband in there.’

T

here was a gaggle of senior maids
in her small room holding her package. They giggled maliciously, looking
triumphantly and with contempt at the younger girl.

‘I see,’ Collett said trying to
seem humble. This display of greed always amazed her, why can’t they just be
honest and say there are here to take her things. n.o.bles are such…

Her parents were very wealthy
textile traders and tailors. They dealt in high quality silk, linen and other
fabrics, clothing and accessories so her family circ.u.mstances were better than
many aristocrats. Her clothes and personal items were always of good quality,
and she had frequent packages from her parents which incited envy in the other
maids so she was bullied.

Because most of the palace maids
were the younger daughters of lower aristocrats they still regarded themselves
as above commoner maids like Colette. If she tried to defend herself, she would
be accused of being the rude and conceited one, so she kept her gaze down.

Colette lived in a single room,
which was not common place for a junior maid. Only senior maids had rooms to
themselves, but Colette could not sleep with other people, so her parents spent
quite a bit of money bribing people to sort it for Colette.

She was grateful for her parents’
show of love but this brought caused even more antagonism from her senior
colleagues.

In the package her parents sent
this time, were pastries from the really good bakery in her town, silk
handkerchiefs and scarves from her parents’ shop, chocolates, silk underwear,
and clothes.

She had written to her parents
explain the situation, and asked them to send these things regularly.

‘No way! What is this?’ Her
greatest tormentor, Rose, exclaimed pulling out a pink item made of frothy lace
and fine silk. Rose held it up to show the others, it was an exquisitely
tailored silk babydoll, with deeper pink silk ties. It looked quite lovely, but
it wasn’t something they would send to their unmarried daughter.

It was most likely her older
brother being silly, and combining a little advertis.e.m.e.nt in the joke.

‘If you like it, you can have it,’ Colette
said

Rose glared at her, walked up to
her and slapped her (Zuben: Slap Fight! On!)

‘Why would I want to wear such a
vulgar thing? Don’t joke with me!’

‘…my apologies,’ she could never
seem to win against these people. Her cheek hurt because she spoke out of turn.
She apologised again, wishing she had just kept her mouth shut. (Zuben: No?
Really?)

‘Such a thing only suits a pig like
you,’ Rose said contemptuously, her gaze raking the younger girl up and down.

It wasn’t that Colette was fat, but
unlike n.o.ble ladies who did little, ate little and wore constraining corsets to
make themselves look delicate and slender, Colette life was full of exercise,
healthy eating and underwear freedom. So she developed a sensuous hourgla.s.s
figure, with ample b.r.e.a.s.t.s, a small waist and full bottom and thighs. (Zuben:
The cover artist did not get that memo)

Rose held her finger to her lip as
she thought of something most likely malicious,

‘Why don’t we do this; to verify if
you’re attractive or not,’ She said gleefully. (Zuben: Does Rose want to eat Colette
cake?)

Colette looked puzzled,

‘You hit Commander Lionel of the
Black Dragon Knights. Wear this,’ she said holding the baby doll between her
finger and her thumb like it was distasteful, ‘and go to his rooms to
apologise.’

The other girls started laughing,

‘It might just get you some mercy,
piggy.’ Another of the girls said. They collapsed into laughter.

‘Do you think he’ll sleep with her?’

‘Don’t be silly! A piggy like her
would most likely be refused!’

It was truly a vulgar conversation.

Colette was tired, but she kept a
placid expression on her face. One of the things to avoid as a merchant family
is opposing the n.o.bility, whether level they were. They still had the power to
ruin their family business.

‘Very well…’

‘You must go tonight, I will ask
you tomorrow.’ Rose said. Their game was finished, so they took their preferred
items and left the room. The pink baby doll was left on her bed. Colette sighed
as she sat on the bed.

As for Lionel…

Lionel was a Knight Commander of
the Black Dragon Knights. In times of war, they specialised in purely offensive
manoeuvres. Though their kingdom was at peace, there were still pockets of
unrest and bandits roaming about; they were usually suppressed by the Black
Dragon Knights. Lionel was one of the youngest Commanders in the Knights and he
wasn’t yet thirty. He had a very sharp and intimidating aura; he made most
people quake in their boots from fear. But he was a knight that stood in the
front lines with his men and encouraged his subordinates. He had such a
foreboding presence, he made people tense and anxious, yet eyes were always
drawn to him.

Rose had asked her to run to the
knight training ground for no good reason. Running around in her maid uniform with
all the petticoats was c.u.mbersome; she had tripped on a large stone and somehow
conked heads the aforementioned Knight Commander. After a light daze, she found
herself in his arms, she jumped in mortification,

‘Pardon my trespa.s.s.’ She said,
looking at the man. His eyes were deep blue like the sea and icy. He stood very
tall, he wasn’t wearing armour, but a vest and trousers that showed his broad
shoulders and muscled body. He looked solid. If Colette got hit by him, she’d
be blown away and die. And his face…he was so handsome yet expressionless. But
there was a hint of blood thirstiness with his arctic aura.

Such impoliteness might get her
punished. He could easily take her life without much effort if he was angry,

She quickly bowed low, ‘Please
pardon me, I wasn’t looking where I was going. Are you hurt?’

He placed his hands on her
shoulders and pulled her upright.

‘Are you alright?’

‘Yes, I didn’t get hurt.’ He stared
hard at her.

‘I am fine, be careful next time.’

‘Yes, thank you.’ She bowed again,
hoping she could go soon. After a short while, she heard him walk way. She
stood upright and watched as he got farther away from her. She breathed a sigh
of relief.

She had thought she was about to be
rust off a sword, but instead he has asked if she was okay and didn’t chastise
her. Perhaps he was a good person. Thinking about it more, maybe he wasn’t as
mean as she’d been led to believe.

She had to go to Lionel’s rooms
tonight, not to have s.e.x with him, but to appeal to him.

Zuben: What does she think he’s
gonna do to help her…?
