"So that's it! We have our own plan. Since our family is also scared of the Dark Emperor, they have this backup plan. Although it would be a hard life, but it's just until the selection is over, besides it's better than being in the Palace right now you know." Said Joie, the smiling girl earlier.
They explained what their own escape plans and introduced each other as they share it to me.
"Looking at your expression, you don't seems to care. Do you not want to escape?"
Resitaire looked at me, the quiet one earlier, waiting for me to speak.
"You girls have other places to go, while me, I have nowhere. They only let me go because they want to get rid of me and they happily did so by receiving money from the viscount." I said smiling. Plus I don't really have that much knowledge about this world so going to the Imperial palace is a must choice and it's not like I'll be chosen as the Empress, that would be silly. I, who died due to over work vowed to be a carefree person from now on, well not much really, I'll just care when it's related to me so yeah. I know, sounds kinda half-a.s.sed vow, but hey! "We should eat later in a restaurant, when we stopped over for the night to celebrate this day... " Resitaire said with a bit of embarra.s.sment. Joie noticed this and frowned a bit before clearing up and smiling ear to ear
"Yup! This day, we are all friends! No matter what happened to us after the selection I am sure we're all gonna meet and we will still be all friends!" Joie said happily. Effreila smiled and as if she thought of something.
"Y-yes! Reen can possibly be selected--no.. she will be selected and can possibly be the mother of the Empire... to be the Empress!" Effreila said full of hope. Joie and Resitaire looked at Effreila then me and nodded.
