Chapter 9: Mighty General
Uncle Fu excused himself and left for the office to fetch President Chu. But before he left, he pa.s.sed Lin Yi a bag, and told him it contained his school uniform and the textbooks.
“Young mistress, please contact me if you need any help. Dinner will be delivered at 7pm.” Said Uncle Fu before he hurried off.
Chu Meng Yao had no idea what to say to this guy in front of her. ‘I can’t possibly kick him out, and let him live on the streets, can I? My father is famous as a philanthropist. It will not be appropriate if his daughter mistreating her employees.’
Just when Chu Meng Yao was feeling really annoyed, she remembered the root of this problem. She took out her phone and dialed Chen Yu Shu phone number: “Hi, Xiao Shu, my dad asked this worker to live in my villa, what am I supposed to do???”
“Yao Yao, do mean shield-ge?? Nice, tomorrow I will announce to everyone in school that both of you have already cohabited. That way no one will pester you anymore!!” Cheng Yu Shu replied in an uninterested tone when she heard what Chu Meng Yao said. She was currently watching the television while lying comfortably on her bed.
“Chen Yu Shu!!!” Chu Meng Yao exploded and roared at the phone: “You are too irresponsible. How can you gloat at this situation when you are the one that asked me to let his stay? You, come here, now!! ”
“Oo, alright, I will be showering soon, then I will go over after I wake up tomorrow.” Said Chen Yu Shu lazily.
“If I don’t see you here in a minute, then that is the end of our friendship!” Said Chu Meng Yao firmly.
“Aiya, I am currently nude so I still have to put on my clothes.” Grumbled Chen Yu Shu as she stood up from her bed. But instead of putting on her clothes, she started admiring her figure on the mirror and thought: ‘Hm, did I put on some weight? I guess it is time to go on a diet.’
“50 seconds left!” Declared Chu Meng Yao as she looked at the call’s duration.
“Aiya, I still have to lock the door right?” Said Chen Shu Yu as she rushed to put on her clothes.
“40 seconds!” Chu Meng Yao continues the count down.
“Alright alright, I am coming!” Chen Yu Shu putted on her shoes and rushed out of the door.
Distance between Chen Yu Shu’s villa and Chu Meng Yao’s is only 10 meters. Their villa, which were facing each other, was separated by a small road.
When Chu Meng Yao saw Chen Yu Shu figure from afar, she sighed with relief and hung up the phone.
“Yao Yao, what are you up to? I just got naked and was preparing to go shower when you called. ”Grumbled Chen Yu Shu.
“*Cough!” Coughed Chu Meng Yao. She pointed at Lin Yi and said: “Xiao Shu there is someone else here, please watch what you say!”
“Aiya, does it matter?” Said the laid-back Chen Yu Shu: “Since it is shield-ge, isn’t he one of us?”
“Ok, if that is the case! Why don’t you just let him stay at your house?! ” Chu Meng Yao was very unhappy when she saw Chen Yu Shu gloating.
“Uh….”Chen Yu Shu stuck out her tongue gave an innocent smile: “Yao Yao, you know me, I have the habit of stripping naked. It will be very inconvenient if he is there,”
“So is it convenient if he stays at my house?” Chu Meng Yao started to silently scold Chen Yu Shu in her heart.
“Eh, simple.” Chen Yu Shu shook her head and said: “Yao Yao, why don’t you let him stay in your villa, you can come over and stay at my villa. Doesn’t that solve the problem?”
“Nn, true!” Chu Meng Yao was glad Chen Yu Shu finally said something useful.
But, Chu Meng Yao was still not very reluctant. ‘How can I let a worker live in my villa? On what basis? What if theft happens?
“No way! I refuse to let him live alone in my villa!” Said Chu Meng Yao through her gritted teeth.
Chen Yu Shu was troubled. Previously, it was purely out of mischief when she asked Chu Meng Yao to allow him to stay. Who knew it would come back to bite her? Likewise, Chen Yu Shu also disliked the idea of letting Lin Yi stay at her villa.
After much hesitation, Chen Yu Shu came up with a compromising solution: “Why don’t we do this? I will move in too. Since your room is on the second floor, we will let him stay on the first floor and prohibit him from going up.”
When Chu Meng Yao heard Chen Yu Shu’ suggestion, she too felt that that was the only solution. So she nodded her head reluctantly: “Alright then, let’s do that!”
This was not the first time Chen Yu Shu stayed at Chu Meng Yao’s place, so she was very familiar with the place. Lin Yi on the other hand, took his time and followed them in.
Lin Yi could tell that Chu Meng Yao was hostile to him. But when he remembered Gramp’s solemn request and the trust from Uncle Chu’s eyes, he didn’t let it bother him too much. Chu Meng Yao is a girl after all. It shouldn’t be taken for granted that she would not want to stay with him.
“Oi, what is your name?” Asked Chu Meng Yao as she sat down onto the sofa and stretched her legs.
“My name is Lin…..” replied Lin Yi as he walk towards to the sofa. He stood at the entrance for a very long time, so he was quite tired. But before his a.s.s touch the sofa, he was stopped by a voice.
“Stop! Don’t sit!” Screamed Chu Meng Yao as she stared at Lin Yi.
“Your pants are so dirty, you will dirty the sofa!! Xiao Shu likes to lie on it while she is naked.” Said Chu Meng Yao as she frowned.
Chen Yu Shu rolled her eyes and thought: ‘Yao Yao, why do you have to be like this?? Just when you just reminded me to watch my words’
Lin Yi was not bothered by her remarks. It was a long day. His clothes were indeed very dirty. Dirtying the sofa was a small matter. He was worried that it would cause that beauty to develop some skin problem.
“Ok, please continue.” When Chu Meng Yao saw Lin Yi stood up, she sighed in relief.
“My name is Lin Yi” said Lin Yi.
“Ok, Lin Yi. You will sleep in that guest room. I will be staying upstairs with Xiao Shu, so you must never set foot upstairs. Or I will ask daddy to fire you.” Chu Meng Yao didn’t feel very confident when she said that. For some reason, she feels that her father must have been cheated by Lin Yi, so she added: “If you dare to go up, I will get Mighty General to bite you to death!!!”
“Sure.” Lin Yi nodded his head. When he heard Chu Meng Yao’s last remark, he got confuse and asked: “Mighty General? What is that?”
When Chu Meng Yao heard Lin Yi’s question, she shouted: “Come down here, Mighty General!!”
“Woof woof——” A series of barks could be heard from the second floor. Shortly, a vicious looking Rottweiler came running to Chu Meng Yao’s side and started staring at Lin Yi attentively.
