"What do you mean?! Who are you?",Otorine expressed filled with deep worry in her eyes. Her skin was feeling chills as everything she sensed was pitch-black. Soon enough, a glimpse of a blinding and terrifying light from the darkness emerged in front of her. Then, it told her with a dreadful tone of several souls,"Everything you are seeing...is just an illusion...".Otorine was shocked,"What?!".The blinding light that came from the abyss divided into four lingering lights of black and white. They had surrounded Otorine and it continued to speak in poetic verses,"I am the anew...an ent.i.ty of the new. Neither divine, nor thy void, nor demonic, nor existing, nor inexisting...Thy true way to save, UNFORTUNATE SOULS such as thy fragment...".Then, Otorine felt that her head was about to split and crack. As the lights were releasing eerie chaotic sounds that were similar from the overloaded screeches of static,"Agh! What does that suppose to mean?",she responded, while she was struggling as her ears were being raped by the scratching sounds emitted by the otherworldly lights. Even though, Otorine looked-like she was suffering. The lights continued to let out more words and eerie static,"Thy art in a cage trapped in an illusive cage...Thy whole G.o.ddess life...IS A LIE!"."No! That's not true!",Otorine refuted with expressive anger in her eyes. The next moment, all of the lights went out. Thereon, Otorine felt that the chilling dread was gone but, she was still trembling, as the place she was in was darker than any void. In turn, she cowered down, closed her eyes and called a tear for help,"Na.s.sus...Yumi...Ira...Ru...Mai...Amora...Shunya...Weissia, please save me...".As Otorine opened her eyes slowly, she was seeing the vibrant blurry pigments and colors, as she was in a certain bustling place. Her hands rubbed her eyes. She glanced around and took witness that the cold atmosphere was gone as Yumine, Miro, and little Na.s.sus were near her. More so, they were all sitting at the same table. Afterwards, Otorine asked them,"Wha? What just happened? Where am I?".Yumine gave a relieved smile as her friend woke up,"Finally, you're awake now Ori!".Otorine asked Yumine,"Yumi, could you explain on what happened to me?".Yumine explained complacently aided with gestures,"Well, you collapsed at the beach...so we had to bring you back to Celestia Heavens. The medics said that you just need rest on a couch and coffee? So we're at Ru's place now".There after, Otorine glanced around and saw that she was back at Ru's soothing and cla.s.sy bar with lots of customers, as Yumine had said,"Uh huh...".Although, Otorine looked puzzled in her thoughts, regarding the odd lights she had seen before,"Was that Distortion? Or something greater? And what is it trying to say?".
Her face looked very much distressed. She looked at her own body and noticed that she was dressed in her original yukata outfit, that was glistening as the sapphire sea. She also witnessed that everyone had returned to their respective outfits as well. She made a huge sigh. Then, she pinched and squeezed Yumine's cheeks for some reason. Yumine, Miro, and little were utterly surprised of Otorine's weird behavior. Soon enough, Yumine shoved away her friend's hold,"Geez Ori what the h.e.l.ls was that for?!".Otorine replied,"Sorry, just making sure you were real...".Yumine was kinda crept-out by her friend's odd response,"Ofcourse I'm real Ori! Geez, had sand entered your head or something?".When Miro and young Na.s.sus heard Yumine's expressive statement, they both laughed. Yumine took notice of them, so she asked them with a nice smile of a young maiden,"So, was it fun for the two of you too?".Miro nodded,"Yes.".Then, the little Na.s.sus followed,"Yeah!".After that, Yumine shifted to look at Otorine in front of her,"How about you Ori?".Though, Otorine looked-like she was looking above the clouds. Yumine kept on snapping her fingers, since Otorine was s.p.a.cing out,"O-ri? C'mon snap out of it...".Otorine snapped out from her doubtful trance,"Huh what oh, yea...".Yumine just held her own forehead and made a negative sideward nod as her friend was s.p.a.cing out often. A while later, a plush doll that looked-like a miniature version of Ru gave their ordered drinks and frappe for Otorine. Yumine was delighted,"Thanks, plushie Ru.".Otorine turned to look at her little Na.s.sus beside her. The young kid gave a bright smile, making Otorine to feel as if she was in cloud nine. Though, she just looked away, as she noticed that she became very embarra.s.sed. Not only that, she was looking fl.u.s.tered but, she doesn't want her pa.s.sionate urges to control for the meantime. The ambiance was very soothing as everyone was lively yet, relaxed, turning Otorine's worry's to wear off soon enough. She was about to take a sip of the refreshing mocha frappe. Suddenly, Lilieth slammed the door open. In a jifffy, she went to Otorine's and Yumine's table. The tired Lilieth who had huge eyebags slammed the table gently and said,"Finally, you two are here now...".Otorine asked with a subtle dumbstruck expression,"Is there something the matter? Vice Blade G.o.ddess and you look restless for some reason.".Lilieth made a long-winding sigh. Then, she explained to them in brief,"While LOTS OF THE BLADE G.o.dDESSES WERE GONE, me, Mai, and Ru had to do all of the paperworks and investigations of the last Fallen THREEFOLD...".Lilieth paused for a second and told them something important,"About the last Fallen, guess what, he's in your world...".Even though, Yumine and Otorine heard the alarming statement from Lilieth, they weren't very much surprised. There after, Yumine asked more,"Uh huh and?".Lilieth made her eyes roll,"You already know what I mean...".Yumine looked dubious over Lilieth's cloudy reply,"Um ummm, how bad?".Lilieth made a sarcastic smile,"Oh it's not THAT bad...it's just your PEOPLE HATED AND WANTED TO RIP YOU TWO TO SHREDS AGAIN!".That sudden moment, Lilieth squeezed Yumine's cheeks like a disciplinarian as she was sensing that the G.o.ddess Yumine was still relaxed, over what she had said."Ow thath hurtsh!",Yumine expressed like an annoying teenage high school girl. While for Otorine, she just sighed, as they were about to go on a crazy trip once again. Thankfully, Lilieth had stopped pinching Yumine's cheeks and the serious air was back. Yumine asked another question,"Just a question though, why didn't Mara tell us anything about this?".Lilieth just made an annoyed look,"How should I know?! Honestly, I got REPRIMANDED by G.o.ddess Queen Weissia and those persistent Quad-council heads too ya know! Since, they didn't know that almost all of the Blade G.o.ddesses were out on a SILLY VACATION!".Miro added,"That's a pity...".As Lilieth took notice of Miro next to Yumine, Lilieth touched her lips and made a grin that had the look of a sinister woman. Then, she spoke with a high-pitched tune that wasn't welcoming, rather terrifying,"Also, Miro...How come my G.o.ddess points became so low? Hm?!".The atmosphere turned cold, since Miro just turned white as he saw the wrath-imbued Lilieth. Though, soon enough, he man up. He stood up and bowed so low as he duly confessed for his sins,"Head Blade G.o.ddess Mara turned me into an errand boy, so I had to buy lots of drinks for the Blade G.o.ddesses...".As Lilieth heard Miro's sincere confession, she just let it pa.s.s. Though, she felt that her bundles of stress just stacked once more. The only thing she could do was to facepalm in the midst of the crisis and said,"Ugh...For now, I won't scold you since we have an urgent mission on our hands.".Lilieth made a fiery determined look and pointed at Otorine,"So let's all go to your world!".Miro replied,"Does that mean?".Lilieth nodded,"Yes, ALL of us...".Yumine just took a sip of her white chocolate drink and reasoned out non-chalantly with added gestures,"I think you're just jumping to conclusions Lilieth...I mean, maybe it's another WATERWORLD like ours.".Otorine agreed with her friend's statement. Lilieth made a long winding sigh,"How many freakin' waterworlds have GEMSTONES drifting above the surface waters huh?!".Yumine made a forced smile,"Oh, only one...and that's our world...".Later, everyone left and headed to the Blade G.o.ddess meeting room. There, they saw the fierce Mara and a few numbers of Blade G.o.ddesses such as you had seen a room full of powerful and dazzling G.o.ddesses in an MMORPG. Lilieth and her company bowed to Mara. Soon, Lilieth gave a doc.u.ment to head Blade G.o.ddess Mara. Also, Lilieth told that she and her team was able to find the last Fallen's whereabouts. Though, Mara just looked skeptic of what Lilieth had explained and returned the papers,"I apologize vice Blade G.o.ddess Lilieth but, your information is flawed...".Lilieth was enraged but, she had a cold look on her face,"What do you mean...Head Blade G.o.ddess!?".Mara just explained with a calm tone,"Your information is lacking...".Lilieth crossed her arms and stared at Mara straight, regardless of her position,"While you think it's flawed...for us it is precise, as Mai, Ru, and me had to work non-stop just to compensate for everyone's absence due to this...SO-CALLED VACATION of yours...".The air turned still, as Lilieth replied rudely to her superior, turning the other G.o.ddesses to have dubious rumors. While for Mara, she just refuted back with a composed tone,"I think you're forgetting your position, VICE BLADE G.o.dDESS LILIETH. Nevertheless, I won't allow you all to go to the world of Uminoya, without my supervision...".Lilieth was p.i.s.sed and she just walked-out,"Ugh! Let's go Yumi, Ori, Miro, li'l Na.s.sus...".Thereupon, Lilieth and Otorine's company went back to Ru's sa.s.sy place. Miro made a disappointed frown,"I guess we can't go back huh...".Even the young innocent Na.s.sus was sad. For some strange reason, Yumine, Lilieth and Otorine were expressing determined grins on their beautiful faces. Soon enough, Yumine cleared her throat and emphasized,"Ahem! Aren't y'all forgetting something?".Miro asked,"What do you mean Yumi?".Yumine crossed her arms and said with a proud look,"Us, Ori and me are the G.o.ddesses of Uminoya, the waterworld Lilieth mentioned.".Little Na.s.sus nodded lots as he agreed with Yumine. Miro had a glimpse of hope,"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that. Then that would mean—?".Otorine nodded. There after, Miro told them filled with energy,"Great! Then let's—.".Although, the glorious G.o.ddess Queen Weissia came into the bar, turning the place to be seeped in a heavy air, as their prime leader came without any escort. She glanced around and took notice of Otorine and company, so she went to them. Lilieth asked while she was feeling nervous,"Y-your highness...w-what brings y-you here?".Weissia just told them with a composed yet, relaxed tone,"I'm just here to tell you that once you go back to your world, you all would be destroyed in mere seconds if you aren't cautious...".Yumine was dumbstruck,"Huh? What do you mean? Your highness?".Weissia crossed her arms and said with a cold stare,"The Fallen you'll have to capture is the last one...".Yumine felt excitied,"That's amazing! After that Ori's free n—."."Though, this Fallen is one of the strongest of them all...",Weissia interrupted. As everyone at the table heard the G.o.ddess Queen's warning, they felt an extremely cold shoulder. Otorine, Lilieth, Miro, and Yumine gulped, while for little Na.s.sus his hands were trembling. As Weissia witnessed that their motivation went down the drain, she poofed out magical amulets. Then, she said,"That's why I'm giving all of you these amulets, so here.".She gave each of them the platinum magical amulets that has the notable symbol of a holy cross. Although, looking at it closely, the cross symbol also had a lying down crescent moon below and seven golden stars inside the moon's body. From quite a distance, those looked-like a droplet of a holy tear. As Otorine and company accepted Weissia's generous offer, Weissia told them,"Those amulets shall be very valuable during your travels...See you soon."Afterwards, Weissea left and sat on the stool at the bartender's area. As usual, she ordered lots of ice cream dishes once again. Sooner or later, Yumine looked at Lilieth and made a convincing look,"I guess...G.o.ddess Queen Weissia believes in your info Lilieth. So that means there's a very high chance that the last Fallen is lurking in our world...".LIlieth nodded,"Yeah...".Although, she was looking at G.o.ddess Queen Weissia who was eating her ice cream meals pa.s.sionately. More so, Lilieth was making a grateful smile and she said softly,"Thanks for backing me up G.o.ddess Queen Weissia...".There after, Otorine said to her companions,"Let us depart then...".Miro, Yumine, Lilieth, and the youthful Na.s.sus agreed. Thereupon, they left Ru's place and went outside. Otorine and Yumine brought out their magical transfer cards that shimmered like azure and amethyst b.u.t.terflies. The next moment, Otorine, Yumine, li'l Na.s.sus, Lilieth, and Miro were shrouded by ascending prismatic northern lights. Afterwards, they vanished.Soon, all of them arrived at the dead center of a dome-like throne room. Though, Miro's eyes were awestruck. As the royal palace was blended in the mix of holistic, medieval, and oriental theme. There were glistening golden pillars at every corner and dynamic life-size statues of Otorine and Yumine on both sides. Not only that, the walls of the dome were stained gla.s.s that had artistic images of Otorine and Yumine. In turn, Miro was fascinated yet dumbfounded,"This is?".Lilieth warned them,"Look out!".All of them dodged the oncoming fireb.a.l.l.s and hurled gla.s.s swords in a snap. In turn, they were all saved from the utter decimation of punctures and incineration."The throne room, Mr. Miro...",a man with a low voice said from afar. All of them turned to look at the throne in which the voice came from. Through their sights, they've noticed that the adult Na.s.sus was sitting on the throne room with a malachite sword. As Otorine saw the full form of her everlasting lover, she was in a mix of confusion and shock,"N-Na.s.sus?!".
