(Alderam) - "Your opponent is me!" I knock him away on to the ground and look down to see the monster in a bigger picture. Hmm, a griffin didn't expect a boss to lunge at him as soon as the door was opened, but a griffin shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Jean P.O.V.
I still have mixed opinions on this dragon. Even though he doesn't seem to have bad intentions, I can't help but worry he will do something to us. I might be paranoid and annoyed at him for making me p.i.s.s myself. Anyways, he saved me from getting killed just now when the griffin decided to attack as we opened the door.
No wonder that he looked c.o.c.ky coming into the guild. I didn't need to interfere with the drunkard and him because that guy would've been destroyed without any problems. I don't know if we can see eye to eye in the future, but he sure as h.e.l.l gave us a c.r.a.p ton of money, so right now I'm not complaining.
Alderam P.O.V.
This griffin is nothing compared to the hydra that I just faced. The only problem with fighting it is that it is crazy fast and can fly. At least the hydra was somewhat stationary. Given my current circ.u.mstances, I am the same or a little bit faster than the griffin while I am flying.

I'm officially done with this d.a.m.n world. Naming the griffin Gryffindor? Either G.o.d had no taste in names, or the author has a horrible naming sense.

Did I just hear something, or was that my imagination? Never mind, I've got better things to worry about.
The griffin isn't very strong when it comes to stats, but his speed is going to be very annoying, so I need to find a way to restrain his movements.
(Alderam) - "Can you restrain his movements, he is too quick. Even my speed is slower than his." Even though I don't really have a chance of loss here, but dealing with fast opponents are troublesome to deal with.
The whole 3 man team then run and try to get him restrained while I think of a strategy, but they are getting overwhelmed out there. They are managing to knock him down, but he then screeches and releases an aura.
Everything then became black, but I could still hear and feel. I could hear the people start to yell as they get blinded as well. I then remember one of his skills is [Blind](A), however...
(Alderam) - "Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man." Haha, I always wanted to say that coming to this world.
[A/N - Quote from Bane]
(Riza) - "We need help out here!"
I activate [Darkness Eater](SS) and I can see everything again. I enter through the shadows created by the cave walls. As the griffin is about to claw down at Ellie who was completely blind. I jump up to him and bear hug him around his neck from behind.
(Alderam) - "Fly away from me now you son of a b.i.t.c.h." I smile as I tighten my grip. My claws dig deeper as I squeeze harder. He shrieks more and more loudly to the point where my ears start to bleed, but I keep squeezing.
*Snap*
His shrieking stops as he slowly falls over with a broken neck.
(Jean) - "Holy s.h.i.t, that was brutal. Thank G.o.d you are on our side."

Great, now I can evolve! Wait, where is the message. My level is capped at 50 currently, but it won't let me evolve.
"Evolve"

Wow, it seems like I need to get the t.i.tle cold-blooded killer to evolve. How do I do that?
To gain the t.i.tle Cold-Blooded Killer, one must kill a human in the human transformation without hesitation.
There is no way I can kill these guys and even if I tried, I can't do it without hesitation. I might have to wait until someone threatens us or I meet Leo again, but I don't think that I will beat him for a little while longer.
Anyways, I should probably go down to the next floor, but it will be a problem if they keep coming with me. They did help with the griffin fight, however, I can't keep protecting them when the monsters start to get crazier and crazier as we go to the lower floors.

I wonder what [Soul Tear] does because I have had the skill since forever but never bothered using it since it seemed useless in most situations that I came across.

Holy h.e.l.l, why didn't I use this earlier, It is such a useful skill! I run over to the Griffin and immediately use Soul Tear.

This skill is going to be so useful in situations because I have an affiliation with darkness which was very fortunate for me. If I was a normal dragon and fought a griffin with those stats, then I probably would have lost due to the blindness. I can now see why it was on floor 15.
(In mind) - "You guys are not strong enough and will only be a burden to me because I want to go to the 50th floor. You guys will probably not live to see the surface if you come down with me. The 10th floor was horrible for you guys, so I don't think you will want to see what is at the bottom of the dungeon."
(Alderam) - "To be honest, you weaklings are just going to be a burden me later down the line. I plan on going to the 50th floor of the dungeon, but puny creatures such as yourselves can not hope to survive. You all remember how terrifying the 10th floor was, so I doubt you want to know what lies at the bottom of this h.e.l.l."
That actually wasn't that bad. I sounded kinda cool instead of sounding like a complete p.r.i.c.k.
(Ellie) - "We understand what you are saying, but--
(Alderam) - "No! You will not come down with me, for I will end you myself for getting my way!"
Jean and Riza ready themselves to run because seeing the darkness dragons power up close is really terrifying.
(Ellie) - "We understand what you mean. We will not follow you any further. I hope we can become allies in the future if you want to. I have no doubt that you will reach the end of this dungeon, so if you need anything at all, let us know."
(Riza) - "Fine, I guess we can become friends with the monster since he saved us."
I turn into my human form and give them all a handshake before telling them their goodbyes as they head up to the surface.
(Jean) - "Man, I'm going to miss him. He wasn't that bad of a guy, but I'm a little salty about the p.i.s.s thing." Jean then hears a strange message in his head.

(Jean) - "What the h.e.l.l is that voice and why the heck did it give me such an embarra.s.sing t.i.tle." Jean sigh's as he ignores it and walks away with the rest of his team.
A few days later
(Riza) - "Ahh, home sweet home."
They enter the village and head to the guild to turn in some materials they found in the dungeon. They were upset and confused as to why the dragon burned all of the spiders because they can fetch a high price if their fangs are in good condition.
They enter the guild...
(???) - "Welcome back young adventurers, I hope you had fun in the dungeon. Now then, I need to ask a favor of Ellie."
(Jean) - "Leo..."
Back to the Dungeon
I continue to go downwards into the dungeon to only find more and more "stronger" monsters that are total pushovers for somebody like me. There were ginormous monster slimes, serpents, and even some insect floors which I quickly burned just in case there was a spider or two in there.
I just realized that I have [Poison Resistance] at SS, so I didn't really need to hide from those things, for their poison is their greatest weapon.
The levels of the monsters keep getting higher, but not as fast as I originally thought. That would be insane if the monsters from floor 22 were level 220. The 20th floor was nothing special considering that it was just an overgrown wyvern. It wasn't stronger than the hydra which confused me because I thought they got way harder.
I can see why people feared this dungeon a lot because the lower you get in the levels, the more complex the monsters get. Actually, it might just be me at my new peak of level 50 that is making me op.
That's when I found it...
I made it to the 25th floor only to come to a beautiful outdoors with a village with what seems to be people living there. From what I could sense, it only felt like a few goblins were here. Maybe this is a stage where people can rest before heading lower, or it might be a place where people are stuck.
I transform into my human form and head to the village. As I enter the village with no guards on the outside, people came out to greet me.
(Elder) - "Oh heavens, has G.o.d blessed us with a human child? He must be here to give us blessings."
(Haku [Alderam]) - "h.e.l.lo, I just came from the upper floors and I wanted to meet with you guys so I can take a break before heading down." Something seems off about this lady. Even though I could hear her due to my increased senses, she is giving off a strange aura.
(Elder) - "Surely you jest, there would be no way for a child such as yourself to come help us. My name is Akira and you shall call me such. There is no need for honorifics with me." She said with a soft smile on her face.
She seemed like the typical granny that would spoil you with food even though you didn't ask for anymore. She shouldn't be a huge problem if I keep my distance. I plan to stay here for a while to figure out what this place really is because I need to figure out if there is a boss on this floor or not.
(Haku) - "Where are my manners, my name is Haku and I am 13 years old and a certified adventurer."
(Akira) - "Well, you are welcome to our village. You will find nothing but good people, however, what we eat is goblins, so they don't taste the greatest."
I've had to eat goblin during my training and I can tell you that it is almost inedible, how can people survive off of stuff that makes you throw up constantly?
(Haku) - "Yes, I saw a few of them on my way here before approaching your village."
(Akira) - "All people are welcome down here and I a.s.sure you everything is safe because our village has survived for centuries without any problems whatsoever. We have an inn that we use for people who can't really afford to have a house, so you can stay there. Ah yes, money is completely useless here as we trade crops and materials we find."
It makes sense considering that they are living off of each other to trade materials rather than carrying around gold. Even for a village with little activity, it is strange that it is all happy like and everyone is friendly.
I was shown to their inn and I lay down on an actual bed for once. It is comfortable even though it would seem to be rock hard. I haven't really been in any bed except for a nest thing that Parthenia had in her cave.
After a while, they threw me a feast to welcome a new face in their village. The village seemed to have around 2-3 thousand people there so there were only around 10 people in the dining hall that we were eating at. I looked at the food and it looked well prepared even though it was goblin meat.
I took a bite into it...
When did goblin meat taste like a c.r.a.ppy version of beef? Then I found out something was wrong.

I knew something was wrong, so I acted like I pa.s.sed out, but I could still see with my eyes closed because it's like Toph's earth bending in Avatar. I can sense things using the darkness around me.
They dragged me into the library where they used a secret pa.s.sageway to drag me in a room and laid me on a table. They hooked my hands and legs to the table and as they did that I opened my eyes to see human carca.s.ses chopped up around me.
I vomited at the sight and realized that goblin meat is inedible and I was just eating human. Akira walks downstairs and looks me dead in the eye and said... "Sorry about this Haku, we must survive one way or another. Even if we have to sacrifice our own race to do so." A twisted smile then appeared on her face.

This lady is seriously bad news. She comes and is about to bring down her cleaver and I just smile at her. She smiles back and swings, but the cleaver breaks like gla.s.s. It felt good knowing that her face became pale.
I slowly rise as I smash out of the cuffs like they were made of paper and kill her and her companions around me with a slash that cuts them like b.u.t.ter.

Good, now to get the h.e.l.l out of here before they notice that I escaped. Not that they will pose a threat to me, but it will be annoying ending these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds.
I change into my dragon form and quickly fly out of the secret area and break through the top of the library. I then fly away to the next floor as the people look at me in horror. I feel bad for these people because they have adapted to the floor with only goblins. It's sad that they had to resort to cannibalism.
Now, onto the next floor!
In the kingdom of Dawn
(King Percy) - "So, Leo still hasn't gotten to the dragon yet?"
(General Gantz) - "No your majesty, but he has an idea to where he will be and will be heading there after he gets his arm back."
(Percy) - "Whatever the future may hold, it won't be good."
