'Four seas' refers to the belief in ancient times that china is surrounded by sea in the four directions (North Sea, East Sea, South Sea and West Sea), and the eight deserted lands is actually referring to the 8 direction (N, S, E, W, NE, SE, NW, SW)

[5]野生 (yě shēng) – Sorry, I couldn't help it XD what she means is that she isn't bound to any group. Translates to wild, undomesticated.
