In the Kingdom of AIN, there lives a prince named Leo, he is the only son of the King and Queen and is known as Cold prince. why?Because, everything he touches or walk on becomes cold.Once, in extreme harsh summer the Wells were hot and field were dry. The famers feared if they would water with hot water it might increase the heat which would affect the crops so they headed to the palace for help. "We need water" they Portest "Our crops are in danger"The king came out and said, "My dear people... it's very hot. Please stay calm.. may be the temperature would fall in the evening or night"One child shouted, "We need Prince Leo. Bring him please!" other children shouted too the same "WE NEED LEO!! PRINCE LEO!! When the protesters roared, they heard, "Don't worry I 'm right here!." From the top of the tower Leo jumped, ran on roof straight, slides and jumped high over the gate wall and landed in front of his father, "Leave this to me" his said to his father "I"ll cool them down" the king nodded smiling.Prince Leo said raising his hands, "Come on let's get COOL!! " he ran between them and they could feel cold fresh breeze pa.s.sing through their faces which felt them relieved. They followed him.Leo ran between street and shops, touching each of the water tanks and water bottles boxes, all got mist over them turning cold. He came in the center square and slides on the water of the fountain around till it changed into ice and then stood on its point. He hit the tip of the water tower with his shoes tip and a steam of cold water splits out on the land. Small boys rushes under it having a bath. People happily enjoyed the cold water in the cool streets under the hot climate. "Hot wind blows but, it doesn't matters as long as Leo is around" That's what the people would say about him. Whereas, in Winter, Pince Leo's power begin to change into ice. He could create ice anywhere he wanted. Children loved playing with him especially at this season. They would build up snowman and he would increase it's height. They ask him for snowfall, he would splash his power up at the sky and the snow would fall. when each child caught one in his hand, the b.a.l.l.s would melt and beautiful snow flakes appears in their hands, each child having different type. The King and Queen especially advises him, "Don't go over, you might make a mistake especially during winters ""Don't worry father and mother I'm trying my best to take precautions " was his reply always.Leo has white hairs, blue eyes of age 12. He is a playful boy, enjoying, respecting his friends and parents and is dresses in prince suits. He was always careful with his power One day, while Leo was playing with the children s...o...b..ll, he made a mistake. When he threw a ball with force, he got slipped and fell to the ground. His power released from his feet and a big weave of snow rose towards the other side, coming towards the other group 's snow fort. They thought he was playing so they ran away happily leaving behind a sick girl who left her bed just to play. The weave took over the fort and drowned her.
"NOO!!" yelled Leo "MAHA!" he got up and ran there, Sreaching for her under snow he begin to dig with his hands here and there, worried. The others watched in sickness, he turned to them and shouted "COME ON AND HELP ME FIND HER " all the children began to help.After half an hour, a child shouted, "I found her!". Leo came there and dug move deeper till he took her out. She checked her and got shocked, she was alive but, frozen. He said, "Get back home, I will leave her myself " he ran away from the park as fast as he could till her house. "OMRON!! " shouted knocking the door "Please your sister is freezing". A boy having blue hairs and orange eyes opened the door and got terrified to see her condition, he grabbed her from and ran inside leaving Leo back. Omron is Leo 's best friend and likes him in everything, helps each other in anything. Leo told his friend 's father everything. He didn't mind but, just advise him to be careful next time (kindly). The prince even told his parents about it and decided to be grounded for a week. That night, Maha suffered in severe cold with terrible illness, nothing worked out to keep her down and the next morning she died. Bewilderment, anxious and hopelessness filled the family, especially for Omron cause Maha was his best sister and he loved her more than others. After the funeral was over and everyone left, omron stood near the little grave with tears in his eyes. Leo felt terrible after hearing the news appeared by his mistake, it was a terrible thing for them.A week later, for new decorations and changes many new models, flowers and gifts were brought to the palace. Leo watched the work from top balcony. Maids, servent guided by a butler all did the work. Everyone were excited and worked proudly the whole day. Soon, the palace grew beautiful by the new setting. At night, the Royal Family had their dinner and went to bed. Two days later, Leo noticed something different in him. It was his hairs. They were turning from thread to thread into black from white. He tired washing it, combing it or dying it but, it didn't move. He said, "Looks like new hair is forming" he left it, went out to play with his friend Omron without caring. His friend asked him about the hair and Leo gave the same reply. In the evening, he found the blackness were more than in the morning, "Something is wrong. Hairs can't change that fast." Suddenly, a sharp pain gutted in, he fell onto his knees, holding himself and shivering "What is this pain? "he asked inwards "It's squeaking everything inside me" Taking the support of the wall, he walked on to his room and laid on the bed breathing hard. The pain kept increasing, suffering him a lot till he fainted. n.o.body noticed this and thought he was asleep.The Next sunrise, he woke up and felt normal. He was perplexed and thought, "What just happened last night?...That feeling killed me.....WAIT " he jumped off the bed and checked the mirror. A great shock hit his head to see his hairs completely BLACK! "HOW?! " he shouted and ran out to tell his parents.When they saw him, they got worried and quickly ordered for a specialist. The specialist checked him and inform he was fine. Then, in the evening, Leo 's uncle arrived. Everyone were happy to see him and had a great party. After that, Leo took his uncle happily to his room and said, "Uncle, come I want to show you my abilities". His Uncle who had a king face with brown hairs and eyes sat on a chair. Leo stood in front and said, "Look uncle, I can make my palace on my hands" he joined his hands and opened it and there stood forming an ice palace but, suddenly it shattered. Both got shocked. "I don't understand" he asked shivering "Why can't I use it?"Suddenly, the same agony got him and he fell to the ground "it's...it's that pain again" he said terrified."Are you in pain? "he heard and saw his uncle standing in front of him. He giggled which surprised Leo. His Uncle spoke pa.s.sing by, "Don't you know, you got caught in my traps like mice. Such a foolish boy" he stopped by a flower pot and picked a flower "These flowers are the reason. They shall suck your power and kill you without any evidence""WHAT! "said Leo in shock ness. "This is" he continued "what I always wished. To see my nephew suffer till death "Leo tried getting up but, again fall. His uncle went to the door and went out laughing, shutting it tight. Leo stayed on the floor the whole night in killing pain, which couldn't even give him strength to scream. He crawled to his bed but, couldn't climb it and had to stay there the whole night in it. The Next morning, Leo became normal and stood but, this time he was turned pale and weak. He thought for a while and then decide. Leaving his room, without having meal, he left his palace and went into the Kingdom, as fast as hard could to his friend Omron. There, they met by the door and he told him everything without any stop. Omron asked, "Why would your uncle do that? Weren't you his favorite boy?""I was" answered Leo "I don't know why he's doing this. I must know how to get rid from the effect of the flower before the next sunrise. I am not sure if I can survive this night. I feel that I am completely weaken""But, why do you say Night my friend?" asked omron. Leo replied, "Because I get attack at night from it""Do you know which flower it is? " asked omron "I am not quite sure " replied Leo "there are many different types .My uncle must have sent. It might be among them."We can't fight him" said Omron wearing his coat. "but, we can stop it. Come on. let's go to the castle and save my friend" Leo smiled and both left back. As both the friends returned, a maid stood at the gate. He greeted Leo and said giving a letter, "sir, your uncle left just a few moments ago leaving this letter behind."Leo took it, unfolded it and read. It said :Dear My prince Leo your well known that it will be impossible for you to see the next sun rise. I hope you die.Let's write the solution cause you won't be able to treat it. It's a flower single among thousands which can sense you cause you're against it's weather. pluck it and it will be all over. Good luck my Prince .Both the boys didn't get why was he helping but then Omron suggested we should find it before the next dawn.When they were about to begin their search a maid called the Prince for his study time and practice fencing whereas, Omron had to return for his School. The boy's had to return frustrated.At the end of the day, Omron returned to the castle and was shocked to find his friend in the garden exhausted. He was on his legs and hands looking around the flowers. He went to his friend and asked his condition and was replied as a died person. He said he told his parents that he won't have dinner and was eager to get the flower. Omron decided to help out his friend and begin searching for it. They searched the whole garden. The lawn, indoors and in the main hall. They asked the parents about the places of the flowers and hurried on. Both were perplexed by their act especially about their son's hairs. They searched the whole palace wherever the new decoration were placed whole night. As the night approached to the end Leo was feeling dizzy, tired and sick. Many times he lost his balance. His friend helped him up and made him sit on a stairway. Omron said, "It's useless, we searched everywhere but no chance"."Don't loose hope my friend" said Leo."But, we haven't got any TIME!" exclaimed his friend worried. Suddenly, an idea hit Leo 's head, "Ah there's one place we haven't seen" he got up and began pacing out. "Wait! Where are you going?. Where is it?" called his friend following him. They ran at the side of the castle and entered a tower. Leo said, Climbing upside,"The clock has a bunch of in its entertaining point. Mom's choice. I'm sure we will get one there".He climbed out of the window into the roof. Strong winds blow as he stood on the high tower. Supporting, he walked to the huge clock and reach the Center. There was a bunch of flower placed on it. He stared at it thinking hard but, as he took a step and caught one to check suddenly his leg slipped and he fell away. Omron cried calling him in horror. Leo rotated downwards, slides from the wall, hit hard on the shade below flopped and fall straight in big splash into the big pond of garden.Omron ran down worried for his friend. As he got at the center of the stairs he noticed his shadow appearing, looking out of the window he saw the sun rising."OOO.... NOOO! "he shouted calling his friend. Coming out of the tower, approaching to the pond, his heart beat faster and he stopped not willing to move any step further suddenly, a splash of water came out and he shouted in surprise, "LEO! YOU'RE ALIVE". Leo stood up, shaking his head splashing away water and asked, "What's wrong? Why are staring at me like this?""Your hair?" asked his friend "aren't you hurt?"Leo's hairs were back to normal white not even a simple black thread was hanging. He got a complete wash and was standing near and tidy. His friend asked, perplexed "But, tell me how did you do it? I am speechless. I don't understand?" Leo showed him the flower which was dead, explaining him when he stood ear the bunch of flower he noticed all the flowers were black and one was light which was placed at a side corner. It was lucky for him when he fell and his hand caught it in the right moment. The flower was light among all other flowers not because it was the moon light due to which it was bright, but since it was affecting him by taking away his ability, it was losing it's s color and giving away it's to him. He said hurt him abut but, he was glad to defeat his uncle. His friend helped him out of the pond and said, "I'm so happy to have you back" and he hugged him. Later. Leo refreshed himself in his room and said, rippling his finger on a timber and it turned into ice, "Next time I should be aware of the things which may affect me. I'm sure there are many more and l will seek it before it goes into the wrong hand"he closed up his b.u.t.tons and ran out to play with his friend. The frozen water sparkling under the bright sunlight. THE END
