At 7 am the next morning, both Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian woke up as if their biological clocks were linked. They had breakfast at the hotel before wandering into the snowy island.

When they reached the hotel, it was already 11 pm. The whole day of playing drained Song Qingchun. She had a comfortable warm bath and retired to bed.


The morning of the third day, Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian left Harbin to visit the Lovers' Valley at Huang San. They did not use the cable car but trekked the mountain on foot. Along the way, they even met a senior couple.


On the fifth day, Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian flew to Yun Nan to visit the b.u.t.terfly Spring. When they returned from the b.u.t.terfly Spring, they flew to Li Jiang. They visited the small shops at Li Jiang, and Su Zhinian gifted Song Qingchun a silver bangle.


Since the visit to Li Jiang was spontaneous, they did not book the hotel beforehand. There was only one room left, and Song Qingchun had to share it with Su Zhinian.


The hotel room was made using wood, and the sound insulation was not that good. The small town that was known for its s.e.xcapades was filled with ambiguous sounds throughout the night. However, in Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian's room, silence reigned, and they slept peacefully.


Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian stayed in Li Jiang for only one night before they flew to Zhu Hai. Zhu Hai was a famed holiday spot, but due to the time restriction of Song Qingchun and Su Zhinian's trip, they only visited Lovers' Road.


The road that was built by the sea was long. They arrived at the place in the afternoon, but they had not walked the whole stretch even when the sun fell.


The plane-hopping journey had exhausted Song Qingchun. The last stretch of the road had Su Zhinian carrying Song Qingchun on his back.


Su Zhinian walked very slowly. Song Qingchun leaned on his back, smelling the salt in the wind, chatting non-stop with him.


When they pa.s.sed a particular shop, Song Qingchun suddenly sighed with regret. "This place is highly recommended on the internet. I hear they make such delicious cakes. Unfortunately, they're not open today."
