Chapter 294: Old Man Devil goes into the lake

"Old man, be careful down there." Wu Lingyu said as he too felt the immense power just now.


"Do I look like someone who'd die easily? You rascal! Don't curse me!" scolded Old Man Devil.


"Master, be careful!" Sima You Yue said.


"Indeed. This creature may be strong but it can't kill me." With that, Old Man Devil hugged his knees and jumped into the lake.


"I'm going back to the Holy Capital, you coming?" asked Wu Lingyu.


Sima You Yue shook her head.


"I'll inform you when things at the Holy Capital stabilise." said Wu Lingyu.


He took out a piece of mother stone, split it in half and gave half to Sima You Yue.

The Sima clan had just started to recover from their shock and when they saw the once again peaceful lake, they all asked " What's in the lake?"


Sima You Yue told them about Old Man Devil and her suspicions, and that she guessed that the tremors from Ten Thousand Beast Mountain was caused by the beasts.


When everyone heard the news they were astonished, but because they knew what happened on Forgotten Worry Island, they took this in rather quickly.


"So you're saying, this place is too dangerous." Sima You Yang frowned, " Should we shift to another place or just retreat for now?"


"I don't think there's a need." said Sima You Ran, " Since that place is suppressing that beast, that means this is the centre of the spell, this should be the safest."


"I agree." said Sima You Lin, " After so many years it hasn't appeared, if we stay here just temporarily, there shouldn't be a problem."


"Me too, I'm too lazy to move, hearing what Jade said, this chaos should roll over in a few days.
