The next few days pa.s.sed in a blur.Ai was in a daze as he was prepared for a wedding his heart wasn't really ready for. w.a.n.g seemed somewhat at a loss.He wanted Ai so bad, but his heart was unsettled with the thought of Ai not really loving him back. However, he still continued the plans. Sure, for now, he didn't hold Ai's heart, but later he would right?one couldn't be bound to someone for life and not end up having some kind of feelings for them?Finally, the day arrived. The inner courtyard was decorated in grandeur. Red ribbons and silks hung all over with blessings and joyous words. Truly a grand wedding was going to take place.w.a.n.g was waiting at the altar as Ai was making his way down, many persons from the courtyard, both servants and sect Elders were standing to bear witness to the wedding.Ai still seemed fl.u.s.tered and unwilling, his heart thudded in his chest with each step he took. He really had no ill feelings towards w.a.n.g to this point, but he neither felt any feelings of love. If it wasn't with the threat of being forced later on to wed should he refused, he wouldn't be dressed in this bridal gown.He was still a man! He wanted to live like all other men, finding a good woman to marry and to have children with. Even if he was now trapped in this new world, did this mean his freedom of choice should be taken away as well?w.a.n.g felt a stab in his heart as he watched the obsession in his heart walking towards him. He'd finally be able to make Ai his, but he felt that this wasn't right, even if his whole being was telling him it was.No one was really sure why, but the skies darkened and a thunderous sound blasted overhead.Ai glanced up to the skies with a look of shock, as did all else there.w.a.n.g's heart thudded as his eyes never left Ai, uncaring as to the storm brewing overhead.It was at this moment a dark shadow shot down and began to circle around Ai, w.a.n.g's heart stopped as he rushed to grab the male.Ai's eyes filled with panic as the shadow moved around him, his heart finally tasted fear as he began to feel a burning sensation throughout his body. He fell to the floor, a barrier preventing w.a.n.g from grabbing hold of Ai.No one knew what was happening, but Hiu felt his heart shudder as he hurried over from the side. He was staying in the shadows. "My Grace! Don't fight it!" he said in a hurried tone. He then went to w.a.n.g nipping at his robes."Young Lord, Don't fret ah! It needs to happen. It's his rebirth!" w.a.n.g turned to look at the ice wolf with a glare. "what do you mean rebirth!" he hissed out still trying to get to Ai.Without any more hesitation, the shadow completely blocked out Ai from sight. Within moments, the shadow and Ai were gone, the storm finally pa.s.sing.w.a.n.g let out a yell as he grabbed his chest, his bond with Ai was forcibly broken.
He looked to Hiu, who was also in pain as his own bond with Ai was disconnected. His body curling to the ground with a shudder.When the pain finally pa.s.sed, w.a.n.g grabbed Hiu, his eyes deadly cold. "What the h.e.l.l just happened?!" he asked with a hiss.Hiu shuddered as he lowered his head. "Ai is not gone...it is just that the heavens have chosen to give him a rebirth," he said with a whimper.w.a.n.g tried to think of what this d.a.m.n beast was saying, but there was nothing about 'rebirth' in his game! "What do you mean?!" He stressed.Hiu felt his heart thud as he made himself small. "Within this land is many realms, Ai is a Heavenly Fox. He is not from this realm." he began with a look of pity. "They are sent here to guide the Spirit beasts, normally a rebirth will not happen. But some times it does, when there is an issue with the spirit and the blood awakening," he stated as he tried to explain."When Ai was awoken, I felt that his spirit and the ancient bloodline seemed in disarray. However, he was able to keep the rebirth from happening by keeping his mind calm. It was probably due to the force of this wedding his mind finally disconnected completely from the bloodline, thus causing the rebirth." Hiu said with sadness."It is not something that happens usually so most don't know about it. He'll be reborn somewhere in this realm within this time frame. You can still find him."w.a.n.g tried to sort out what the beast was saying, so this was caused by him? His need to have Ai is what made the heavens tare them apart? Was Ai really this opposed to being with him?Hiu looked down with a hurt expression, the aura that w.a.n.g was sending out made all around feel pain and was hardly able to remain standing."Lord W-w.a.n.g. There is still a chance for you." Hiu said. His words allowed w.a.n.g to lower his aura a bit, "Explain." His tone was deadly cold."I heard for Ai that you took his memories once... The rebirth will do the same, he'll be reborn into a new life where his soul will be able to accept the bloodline. He'll forget all of his past life... Thus he'll also forget you, so all you have to do is find him and make him fall for you instead of force!"w.a.n.g thought for a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly. "He'll be reborn...make him fall for me?" he stated as his eyes flashed with an odd light."How does he get reborn? Is he going to be a little babe now?" he asked. He needed to know what to expect."Well yes and no? The rebirth is different. He'll become an egg and then after hatching, he'll still retain his human form. Though his aging will be accelerated. Til he reaches the age when the rebirth was triggered. How fast the acceleration is, I'm not sure..." he stated.w.a.n.g nodded before closing his eyes and letting out a deep sigh. "Alright. I'll find him, and make sure he comes to love me as I do him. Then, we'll be able to wed rightfully!" he stated.He was angry at the heavens for taken away his beloved, but at the same time, they were giving him a second chance to start over.
